    To update your Mbox 2 firmware from a PowerPC or Intel-based Mac:
    Pro Tools Plug-ins
    1) Quit all applications and connect your Mbox 2 to your computer. iLok Authorization Info
    2) Download the correct Mbox 2 Firmware Updater v1.43 for PowerPC or Intel-based Macs to your

    desktop, and open the disk image.
    3) Launch the Firmware Updater and follow the onscreen instructions.

    To update your Mbox 2 firmware from a Windows PC:

    1) Quit all applications and disconnect your Mbox 2 from your computer
    2) Download the Mbox 2 Firmware Updater v1.43 for Windows XP to your desktop
    3) Launch the Firmware Updater, connect your Mbox 2, and click "Update Firmware".

    Compatibility

    It is only necessary to update your Mbox 2 firmware using any of these firmware updaters for either
    Mac OS X or Windows XP. Once your Mbox 2 Firmware has been updated, it will be compatible on
    both Mac OS X and Windows XP.

    Mbox 2 with firmware v1.43 is backwards compatible with any version of Pro Tools LE for Mac OS X
