Nespa Scholarship 2019-20 Final
Dependent, of FULL MEMBER OF NESPA for minimum of two years by January 1, 2020
Graduating senior admitted to an accredited educational institution OR
Full-time undergraduate student attending or admitted to an accredited educational institution
OR Full-time/ Part-Time graduate student of an accredited educational institution.
The Scholarship will be a minimum of $500.00. Funding for this self-sustaining scholarship
is from the scholarship raffle ticket sales. The number of scholarships awarded may vary
from year to year. The basis for the scholarship award will be the quality of the completed
application and the written essay as evaluated by the Scholarship Committee and confirmed
by the NESPA Executive Board. All decisions are final.
CONDITIONS
No application will be accepted until the student is in his/her senior year of high school. The student
must present documentation of “letter of intent” to a post-high school institution, whether the student
made the final decision to accept or not.
The scholarship money will be paid by NESPA’s treasurer directly to the school attended by the student
and will be used only for tuition, books or other academic fees. Upon notification of being a scholarship
recipient, the student will submit to the treasurer the necessary form with the name of the school,
address and student’s social security number for the check to be sent to the accredited education
institution.
All applicants will be notified of the committee’s decision by mail. Winners by phone and mail.

be personal and directed specifically to the NESPA Scholarship Committee.

workers, complex thinkers, quality producers and community contributors. Describe
which of these goals have you worked toward and how.
What attribute, quality, or skill distinguishes you from others? How did you develop this
trait?
Is there a role model in your life? How did/does this individual inspire you to be a better
person?
LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
Letter must be current and directed exclusively to the NESPA Scholarship Committee
(form attached). The letter must be included in the application packet when submitted.
