    Goal Essay

    In life sometimes there are things that we would like to have, or maybe things that we need in

    order to have a happy life. Usually we set different goals for ourselves to get us to that bigger

    goal that we would like to reach. Whether it is a short-term goal, or even your career goal. As my

    career goal, I have chose the pathway of being a Dental Hygienist. In order to reach this goal of

    becoming a Dental Hygienist, it is important that I have organization skills, motivation, and

    dedication. By doing this, I believe it will help me to be successful.

    In order to be a dental hygienist, I believe that it is important to be organized. To be organized

    means that you are always prepared for whatever obstacles come your way. With this being said,

    you always have everything that you need set in stone and ready to go. Over all, being organized

    will help me reach my goal of becoming a dental hygienist.

    Having motivation is also a way for me to reach my goal of becoming a dental hygienist. Being

    motivated means that you have the desire to do something. Having motivational skills helps you

    to do the act of which you wish to succeed in. By being motivated I believe that I will be able to

    reach my career goal much easier.

    Another way that I plan to reach my career goal of becoming a dental hygienist, is by being

    dedicated. Being dedicated is actually taking action to the goal that you have set for yourself. By

    being dedicated to this goal, personally, I believe will help me to be successful in life. Without

    dedication it is not as easy to become something that you “hope” to be someday.

    I believe that by becoming a dental hygienist, which is my life goal I will be able to help my

    community. In every community personal hygiene is very important to human health. By

    becoming a dental hygienist, I will have the responsibility to provide clean hygiene for every

    person. I love the idea of making someone’s smile shine bright like the sun!
