CABINET BACK REMOVAL


1. Disconnect the antenna leads from the antenna termlnals.

2. Remove 4 screws (A) securing the Cabinet Back to the Cabinet Front
3. Remove 2 screws (B) securing the Cabinet Back to the Jack Plate
and detach the cabinet back.

CHASSIS REMOVAL

Following the steps un6er Cabinet Back Removal, proceed as follows:

1 ' U n o l u g t h e C R T g r o u n d í n gw i r e s o c k e t c o n n e c t e d t o t h e C R T S o c k e t B o a r d .

2. Detach the picture tube anode cap.

Norice: Certainiy discharge the high potentialof the picturetube anode to


r e c e t v e rc h a s s t s b e f o r e r e m o v i n g t h e a n o d e c a p .

3. Detach the CRT Socket (CRT Socket Board).

4. Take out the chassis for the írontcabinet.

5. Remove 7 screws securing the Control Board to the Cabinet Front.

6. Take out the controi board from the front cabinet-

PICTURETUBE REMOVAL
Following the steps under CHASSIS BEMOVAL proceed as follows:

1. place the cabinet wirh the front down on a rolled pad o( some suitable cushion placed near the top edge of the
faont oanel.

2. Bemove 4 screws securing the picture tube to the cabinet, and detach the CRT with the degaussing coll then
the face p|ate edge cÍ thJ picture tube with both hands and take out the piclure tube.

3. Detach the cRÍ grounding wiíe which is attached to the pictuíe tube |ugs with spring.
