Subject: Concession/waiver requsted by DAV PG College Management in

their accounts.

Respected Sir / Madam,

This is regarding an esteemed customer of our Branch named DAV PG College. The
college has been maintaining its account with average balance amounting to Rs 4 crores
(approx) with us.

On an average, the college has been transacting/depositing cash Rs 4-5 lakhs on daily
basis and has to bear cash handling charges (It has already paid such charges of nearly
40,000/-)

Now the management of the college has requested us to waive the below charges
(which we had committed to them at the time of opening its accounts)

 Minimum Balance Requirement and penalty for non-maintenance of minimum

balance to be waived off
 Cash Handling charges to be waived off
 SMS Alert Charges.
 Internet banking charges on online transactions/RTGS/NEFT to be waived off.
 DD/RTGS/NEFT charges/Fee to be waived off.
 Cheque Book charges to be waived.

The college administration also presents a risk to shift its account to Indian Bank if these
waivers are not provided and it has also committed to open /move (from Indian bank) its
staff salary accounts to our branch in case we cater to customer's request and
subsequently we will get new business like CASA, Advance- Housing Loan, Canara budget,
Credit card etc.

With the stated reasons above, I would like to request you to look into customer's
request and suggest the possible way out so that we can retain the customer as well as
try and get new business from it by providing best possible and feasible facilities.
