- The Titans were children of Mother Earth and Father heaven.

- A Titan who Helped Mother Earth to defeat Father heaven.
- He ruled the world for a long time afterwards, swallowing his first five children for fear they would rise
against him.
- His sixth child, Zeus , Scaped and later defeated Cronus, rescuing his five brothers and Sisters, and
imprisoned him along with most of the other Titans.
Prometheus
- Was the wisest of the Titans, even the wiser than the Gods.
- He help zeus to defeat Cronus.
- His name means “ Forethought. “
- He is most famous for bringing fire to humanity.
Epimetheus
- Prometheus’s brother, his name means “ Afterthought.”
- He is very scatted-brained, and a polar opposite to his brother.
Pandora – was the first woman, created by Zeus. Her name is means “ The Gift of all. “
- Zeus created her and, subsequentially, all women who followed as a means to get revenge on mankind
and on Prometheus, who tricked him and stole fire for mankind.
- She was innately curious, and her curiousity would bring about disaster.
Pandora’s Box
- Zeus gave pandora a box, which she was forbidden to open. Of course, he knew her curiousity would win
out.
- When she opened the box, out flew plagues, sorrow, sickness, and mischief to ruin mankind.
- However, hope also flew out of Pandora’s box, and to this day, is our only comfort.
