    Subject: Resume Planning memo

    Audience

    My audience would be both graduate school admissions (UNC Greensboro) and potential employers. I
    am only just beginning to explore different fields of work; both inside and outside of the library science
    field.

    Distribution

    The resume will be distributed digitally for online applications (as a doc or PDF) as well as face to face
    during both formal interviews and informal if I am to meet a potential employer.

    Context

    This is a professional student level resume to be used in the hopes of enticing a potential employer into
    spending the time to contact and interview me. It will include experience, skills, contact information,
    profile/objective and education.

    Style

    Typography and sizes will all depend on what I plan on incorporating into this piece. I do want it to be a
    bit more creative then the normal cut and dry resume while maintain a professional appeal. Looking
    back on my old resume, which is not bad as far as format or even design, can certainly have some points
    of information completely removed and some added and expanded on more detail. As far as the
    sketches I have provided, I do like the idea of splitting the page up in a bit of nonconventional but
    completely readable way. This of course will end up depending on the information I provide and the
    space it takes up. Still unsure how to use this platform (InDesign), I will see what can be done as far as
    the different font options at my disposal.
