Here in Boyacá, near you, you can live a great dream,

If you have the chance to visit the Sierra Nevada el
Cocuy, you will have the experience of an excursion in a
snowy weather.
In the nature reserve park Cocuy, it seems as if you were

in the winter season, so you can play with the snow, feel

largest glacier in Colombia at 4,800 meters high and 18

vegetation.

do adventure tourism. To reach the top of the snowy,

Cuchumba cave; it is necessary that you must be

You have to walk approximately 8 hours by this route, so

it is advisable that you prepare physically and perform
cardiovascular activities; the temperature is becoming
extremely cold, so you must be cautious for
acclimatization and camping around, to allow the body to
adapt to the weather. Besides, it is recommended that
you hydrate very well before, during and after the trip,
and it is better that you protect yourself with appropriate
clothing such as hats, gloves, socks, scarves or thermal
necks and wear dark glasses or UV protection lenses,
against the reflection of light in the snow.
