Assignment of the digital audio input TV set

In order to be able to hear the digital sound of an external device con-


nected to an AV input, an AV input can be assigned to the digital audio
AUDIO DIGITAL IN
input socket AUDIO DIGITAL IN. When switching to this AV input, the AV1
digital audio signal applied to the AUDIO DIGITAL IN input is passed on to
the integrated Dolby Digital Decoder and the digital audio output socket
AUDIO DIGITAL OUT. You will then hear the digital sound of the assigned
AV input instead of the analogue sound if available.

Connecting devices to the digital audio input DVD player


For the digital audio playback from an external device, e.g. the DVD player,
you have to feed the digital audio signal to the TV set. The DVD player is already registered at AV1 in the connection
