Project integration management

This process done at the initialization phase only to integrate the overall project into a unified

form. It includes such fundamental plans in which we set up the project and assign it to the

project Manager and also includes directing and Managing of project work. In this project also

identify and control any changes that might be occur.

Scope

it is very important to define the scope of project whenever we calculated the detailed

requirements for the final product. For the successful end of any project scope must be defined.

By defining the boundaries of project, it actually restricts ourselves that stay in your lane. After

defining scope then move to the WBS.

Time

Project tasks must be scheduled with start dates and deadlines by commenting ourselves that

this task must be completed at this date etc. little divergence might be occurred.

Cost

Costing is very sensitive part in any field. Cost may be calculated by some estimating

techniques. Cost of each task is calculated by defining all the resources and equipment, labor

which needs to complete the tasks and achieve goals.

Quality

Quality is very important and influential in projects. Quality must be established during the

project planning. It is actually the conformance of quality with the expectation of client to
control and manage further quality of product. Create an Assurance Team to make sure the

Quality of Standards.

Human Resources

Human is the main resource in any project. Project team must be loyal having full of sincerity.

The team needs training for their development and should be track the performances of human

to ensure that is project is progressing as you planned.

Communication

It is the truth that we can’t succeed if we have full of technical skills but do not have

communication skills. More than 50% work is done by the communication. Communication

with stakeholders is a key factor For Example fs a product has some defect then we could be

satisfying the clients by our communication. In this way we can lead our projects by

communication. Project manager should have a strong communication skill.

Risk

Stakeholders and Risk are directly proportional to each other. Risk increases with the increase

of stakeholders. Risk is the part of every project. Major risks should be identified and

prioritized before occurring them. Be prepared that risk occur at any time and make

preparations for the risk solutions.

Procurement

In this process identify all the external needs from the environment. Contractors should be hired

for the procurement process. Making strong relationship with the outside vendors for goods

and services needed to complete our project.

When business managers looking to expand productivity of business by increasing

effectiveness and efficiency. Every business owner wants to achieve goals in minimum

resources and doing things fastest in the least expensive way. These techniques used business

managers in our business. But sometime a point reached that they follow project management

activities to complete their goals. I described in the following example that why business

mangers use project management approach.

of “Railway Construction” for a public use. Business managers focus on the three dimensions

i.e. scope, cost and time.

the current enterprise project. Actually, their resources for the construction stops because of

unplanned things lack of knowledge about resources. In this project some stakeholders don

not know the project objectives. In this way they do not realistically achieve their goals on

time and on a given budget. This is a big project then communication gap problem also

occurring. So, lot of unambiguous things create. So, it’s time to need that they are following

management activities. Then firstly they identify their aims.

In the project initiation and planning step they have a full of specialised knowledge about

their project. They follow some techniques and steps. Organisation of the realisation of renewal

of an old railway under running traffic, Organisation of planning, Searching money,

Discuss with and satisfy some hundreds of citizens and public institutions, Assure the

agreement of citizens and public institutions, Public Relations and project marketing,
Quality control, Assure the fulfil of the project aims, Control consultings and

construction companies, Control of all times and delays, Cost Control, Assure the

demanded result. During the execution and controlling they manage the working and

productivity by checking the working day and night, by writing reports, by fill up check

lists, by strictly following regulars, by comparing nominal and real values, by observing

the doing of our contract partners, by installing a very efficient project controlling. In the

last step that is closing of project is to hand over the product or system which would be

implemented and close out project by checking all the goals and aims that we defined at the

start.
