WOMEN SAFETY IN INDIA
INTRODUCTION
Woman is the best and beautiful creature that god put on the face of the earth.
As we all know that India is a most famous country all over the world for its
great tradition and culture where women are given most respected place in the
society from the ancient time. In our country women are given the place of
goddess Laxmi, Durga etc. in our society.

In the ancient India women were held a high place of respect in the
society as mentioned in Rig Veda and other scriptures. Later on because of
social and political changes women lost their status and were very much prone
to crime against them now a day. After seeing last few crimes against women
in India such as rape cases, acid attack, dowry death etc. the safety of women
has been in doubt.
As enhance of violation they need to be protected.

Save me
IMPORTANCE OF WOMEN
 When we hurt by something suddenly a word come from our mouth
MAA, this shows the importance of women.
 She is a mother, a sister, a friend, a lover, a wife and she is also a
daughter.
 Naturally she is only the engineer of our generation.
 She performs a lot of duties in her life.
 When a woman moves forward, the family, nation and the entire world
moves forward.
 She is the symbol of love, purity, sacrifice, etc.
 I think women are foolish to pretend they are equal to men. They are far

superior and always have been because whatever you give a woman she
will make it greater….Like
 If you give her a smile she will give you her heart. If you give her a
house she will make it home. If you will give groceries she will give you
a meal. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.
CRIME AGAINST WOMEN
o India is also called as Bharat Mata it shows the value of women for our
nation.
o We pray goddess Laxmi, Maa Durga’s statue but we kill the real Laxmi,
Durga (i.e small baby girl) and through them into dustbin and proudly
say we are Indian.
o We know that women are working in every field but still we are taking
their rights to study. Some girls are just 12-15 years sacrifice their study
only for their brothers higher study. But still we the people don’t want
daughter why?
o We love a women as mother, we love a a women as wife, we love a
women as sister, why don’t we love a women as a
daughter/granddaughter.
o We the people not only kill the baby girl but also rape them, give bad
comments to them,, only for dowry we kill them and if anyone raised her
voice we fritted them to kill and if anyone don’t accept our proposal we
through acid on them.
o Every man wants a lady as wife but some don’t want to give birth to girl
child.
o So kidnapping, injecting drugs, gang rapes, dowry death and throwing
out women on the road have become very common in today’s world.
Now a days whenever we see the newspaper or new everywhere we find
rape, rape, rape why?
“She wears a saree, she get raped.
She wears jeans top she get raped.
She wears school dress she get raped.
So dude, problem is not with her dressing.”

“She is seven she get raped.

She is seventeen she get raped.
She is seventy se get raped.
So dude, problem is not with her age.”
There is no problem with her; problem is the mentality of some people.
Women face violence from mainly these two sources where they doing their
day to day activities.

1. Domestic violence's
2. Social violence's

1. Domestic violence's
When violence is committed at home it becomes domestic violence and it
involves family members such as spouse, parents, or servants.
Domestic violence is like hitting, kicking, beating, shoving, restraining,
throwing objects etc.
Dowry death, wife battering, sexual abuse, maltreatment of a widow.

2. Social violence's
Women's are faces different type of difficulties in society by which they are
physically and mentally affected, it is known as social violence.
As todays different type of threats, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, controlling
and domineering, intimidation, stalking and economic deprivation, rape,
abduction, kidnapping and murder happens in our society are known as social
crimes against women.
