Blessed day with God’s abundant grace.
The ______________ Church Philippines Inc. or (_____C), with Securities and

Exchange Commission Registration No. _____________ and BIR Certificate of
Registration No.___________________, would like to apply for Certificate of Tax
Exemption under Section 30 of the National Internal Revenue Code of 1997,
As Amended.
Under Revenue Memorandum Order No. 38-2019, AFBC is classified as Non-

stock Corporation or association organized and operated exclusively
for religious, charitable, scientific, athletic or cultural purposes.
As a religious organization,_________ is guided by a Vision of “Exalting and

Loving God and HIS people, Encouraging each one to work together in
Christian love, Equipping in the truth of God’s word, and Establishing fully
devoted followers of Christ who are passionately committed to bring families,
communities and the nation to our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Section 30 of the National Internal Revenue Code (NIRC) provides for the
exemption on income tax on some organizations, similar to AFBC, to wit:
“Section 30. Exemptions from Tax on Corporations. - The following

organizations shall not be taxed under this Title in respect to income
received by them as such:
(E) Nonstock corporation or association organized and operated

exclusively for religious, charitable, scientific, athletic, or cultural
purposes, or for the rehabilitation of veterans, no part of its net
income or asset shall belong to or inures to the benefit of any
member, organizer, officer or any specific person;”
As a non-stock, not-for-profit religious organization, _____________ receives

tithes and offerings from its members including some donations. No part of
its net income or assets inures to the benefit of any private individuals or a
specific person. Moreover, AFBC falls within the purview of Section 30 of the
NIRC. Hence, ______________ is entitled to an income tax exemption.

4. AFBC funds used exclusively for church’s activities to build a

community of faith that exalts God, loves God and loves his people.
5. For the past three (3) years, AFBC engaged in evangelism, outreach
programs, trainings for volunteer musicians and singers, bible studies.
6. AFBC is engaged in community outreach, focusing in children and

youth in three areas in Metro Manila such as Parañaque, Muntinlupa and Taguig.
7. AFBC conducted Elementary and High School Values Education Class

(ESHVEC) in public schools. This is 20-30 minutes, once a week values class for
students, usually integrated in their Values Education Class. This school year, we
were able to conduct values classes in ____ schools with ____ children in attendance.
The teachers and the principals have seen the impact of God’s word as they see
changes in the lives of the children.
8. AFBC encourage its member to participate in “Build, Build, Build

Project” which aims to raise funds within five (5) years to buy lot and put up the
building of Christ.
