Me and my town
Hi! My name’s Adam. I’m 14 years old. I’m
from Marfa, in the U.S. It isn’t a big city. It’s a
small town. About 2,000 people live here.
My school
I’m a student at Gabler Junior High, and I’m in
9th grade. My best friends are Jesse and Maia.
They’re in 9th grade, too. Jesse is American, but
Maia is from Chile. My favourite teacher is Mr.
Smith. He’s cool! He’s a fantastic guitar player.
My family
My mom isn’t from the U.S. She’s from Mexico.
Her name is Estela. My dad’s name is Mike.
Dad is 42 years old, and Mom is 40. My brother,
