Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not

wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects,
always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there
are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there
is knowledge, it will pass away.

For this coming Christmas, it is a time to love, to share blessings and to give time to God
and Jesus Christ. Sometimes we forget the true essence of Christmas. Christmas is a
time of preparation and of celebration of the birth our Lord, the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

II. Lesson Development

Writing a letter to God: Students can write the letter individually. In the letter, they write
about with what they want to fill their hearts and what they want to eliminate from their
hearts. It is also the time to thank God and Jesus for all the blessings.

Note: The teacher will not read the letter. They will only check the letter by looking at it if
they did something and if it is properly written. They can read the letter if the student let
them read it. They should tell it to their students and return the letter right after checking
it. Remind the students to keep the letter.

III. Closure
What do you feel writing love letter to our God?
What can you do to remind yourself to think about God and talk to him more often
throughout the day?

Everything you do can be “spending time with God” if He is invited to be part of it and
you stay aware of his presence.
