    Kamaraj College was founded in 1966 by the Thoothukudi

    started its journey with U.G programme in 2003.The Department has five M.Com., M.Phil., NET., Ph.D., MBA.,SET., NET., M.A., M.Sc. (Psy.)., M.A., PGDBA.,

    Faculty Members and one part time lawyer. The Department follows Assistant Professor of Commerce,
    St. Xavier's College (Autonomous),
    Choice Based Credit System and Internal Assessment. Every Year the

    Students are given institutional training for their applied knowledge. The
