Specific Instruction for the Candidate

Qualification: COMPUTER SYSTEMS SERVICING NC II
General Instruction:
Given the necessary tools materials and equipment You need to
Perform how to install and configure computer systems for 4hrs Hrs.
Specific Instruction:
I will be observing you while you are performing the tasks
Using the materials, tools and equipment, you are required to perform
the task within (4hrs.) 4 hours You will be rated using the
demonstration checklist.
After your demonstration, I will ask you some questions related to your
demonstration and you will have a written examination.
You may call me when there is a need for me to translate or explain
items for clarification
After the questioning portion, I will give feedback regarding your
performance
Any questions/clarifications? If there are no more questions you may
start now.

4. What is the importance of User Manual?
Answer: User manual provides important information on 'how to use a
product' to end-users. With proper use of a device there is much less
risk of bringing the device out-of-order unintentionally, thus leading to
lower RMA rates and significantly less expenses related to it
5. How can you determine defects and faults?
Answer: If you have a spare, trying swapping the faulty one out and the
spare in. If you have a spare computer, grab the power supply out of
that and try swapping it in instead.
6. What is the use of Timeframe activity?
Answer: Students may write down the events and stick pictures on
cartons and connect the cartons together with a thread or twine in the
right order. At the time of presentation, they can pull the train to show
and explain every event.

4. What is the importance of proper using of PPE?
Answer: The purpose of personal protective equipment is to reduce
student exposure to hazards when computer equipments and
administrative controls are not feasible or effective to reduce these risks
to acceptable levels. PPE is needed when there are hazards present. PPE
has the serious limitation that it does not eliminate the hazard at source
and may result in employees being exposed to the hazard if the
equipment fails.
5. Do you know the effect of ESD?
Answer: Electro static discharge can easily damage sensitive
components in your computer.
6. Why “Have Presence of Mind” is very important in assembling computer
unit?
Answer: Have presence of mind and highly-developed comprehension
skills.

4. What will you do if you encounter a no display problem after you finish
assembling a computer system?
Answer: Check the power cable of your monitor, check the cord.
5. What will you do if you cannot connect with other computer in your
network?
Answer:
*disabled the anti-virus
*check the UTP cable

6. What will you do if encounter audio error codes?
Answer: Update the audio driver.

computer system?
Answer: I will entertain his/her after I finished with my task.
