Content Standard:
The learners demonstrate understanding of how the major internal organs such as the
brain, heart, lungs, liver, stomach, intestines, kidneys, bones, and muscles keep the
body healthy.
Performance Standard:
The learners should be able to identify the parts and functions of the digestive system
which is responsible for the process of digestion in the body.
Learning Competency:
The learners should be able to describe the main function of the major organs and
communicate that the major organs work together to make the body function properly.
Transfer Goals:I want my learners to understand the importance of our major internal
organs especially the stomach and intestines that are responsible for the digestive
process and they will be able to take good care of their bodies’ daily intake.
