5. Testing & Certification


All AP Fiber CPEs must undergo the conformance testing, interoperability testing and should undergo the
Certification by APSFL.
Following are the requirements that should be met by all Vendors for Certification:

a. The Vendor shall describe whether the product is fully compliant to the prescribed
specifications or it is a partially compliant, describe the limitations.
b. The Vendor shall provide a detailed compliance test report with the details about the findings
to APSFL for verification and testing.
c. The Vendor shall specify longevity of the product sales and after sale support.
d. The version of hardware and software of the equipment should be provided.
e. Software upgrades for bug fixing will be assumed to be Free of Cost otherwise stated clearly.
f. The Vendor shall submit detailed product specifications
g. The Vendor must do interoperability testing with the AP Fiber’s OLT and submit the detailed
report on the findings to APSFL.
h. The Vendor should provide APSFL with a Solution Description explaining how the CPE could
provide the triple play services and how the CPE can be managed remotely.
i. The CPE should be compliance with TR-247 (Test Plan for GPON ONU Conformance).
j. The CPE should be compliance with TR-255 (Test Plan for GPON Interoperability)
