INTRODUCTION

Life begins with giving and ends with giving. A man will give a woman his sperm to
fertilize her egg then a baby is formed, and when your soul leaves the body, it (the body) goes
back to the earth. That is, it's donated or given to the earth. Any man that can't be a giver can't
be a receiver, giving is God's nature, if you're not a giver you don't have God's nature in you.
It's written; for God so loved the World that he gave his only begotten son that
whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16.
God so loved the world, not just God loved the World but so!!! loved the world that He
offered His only begotten son as a sacrifice to redeem the world.
You can't separate love and giving. Love goes with giving, you can't love and not give, if you
must love then you must give. As a giver you will always attract givers into your life. Giving
begins from the heart, it's not a rich hand or bank account that gives but a rich heart, you may
not have so much now to give, start from somewhere, if you must go places, don't ever say; I
don't have to give, everybody has something to give. Who will give much tomorrow is who
is giving from the little he has now. Give! Give!! Give!!! Until your cloud is full of rain.

1
CHAPTER 1
The blessing of giving
Giving is a great blessing and privilege. Giving is living, you can't live until you are a
giver. It begins from the heart, it's not a rich hand or bank account that gives but a rich heart.
You are bigger than what you’ve given. A real giver doesn’t value his resources or
possessions.
There is no evil yoke that giving can't break, where your prayers stop, that's where
your giving begins. Let me share my testimony. It’s a normal thing for a man and a woman
to get married and start producing children. In my case, it was not like that; After five years
of marriage, there was no issue until I gave 100 thousand naira or 200dollars as at when this
book was written on two occasions apart from other giving before the door of child bearing
was opened unto me. Praise God!
It's written;
"...it is more blessed to give than to receive" Acts 20:35c.

You're blessed more when you give than when you receive. Receiving from
someone is receiving his challenges. That is giving to someone or your pastor is giving him
your challenges. Do you see that it’s better to give than to receive?

These were the words of JESUS; “it’s more blessed to give than to receive”. There are
three (3) important things you must learn to give. These three (3) things are:

1. Your Life - You must first offer your life to God in this kingdom before it becomes
meaningful. Your heart (life) is paramount to God not your money. The life you're living
now is not yours, it's the breath of God. That means, is a borrowed life, God breathed on
man's nostril, and he became a living soul, your living soul is your spirit, your real you.
When a man dies that means, when he stops breathing, his/her living soul goes to meet the
real owner. Do you know that everything on planet earth is from the ground, and is still
going back to the ground except one thing which is the soul?

Nothing should make you sell your soul to the devil. Your soul is worth more than
anything in this world. The devil is after your soul, it's a pity today that many don't value
their souls. No matter what you're going through right now don't ever sell your soul, what
you're going through now is for a moment. Many had exchanged their souls with satanic
riches, fame, power, possessions, and what have you.
Always remember that your life span on earth is very short. The maximum age in this world

2
is about one hundred and twenty years (120yrs) or otherwise while the minimum is about
seventy years (70yrs) If the time is short here on earth why killing yourself of temporal
things when eternity is forever but I'm not saying you should not be rich in this world, to be
rich without Jesus is useless. We are expected to use our riches to serve
the Lord and humanity. When you're not using your riches to serve God and humanity,
you're poor no matter how rich you're:
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world and lose his
own soul? (in hell).Mark 8:36.

Heaven and hell is real, if you go to hell is your fault. Decide today! Originally, God
created man's soul to live forever here on earth, it was sin that destroyed that purpose but
Jesus has restored that life. When a man dies he only transcend with his soul from this
earth to eternity whether to eternal rest or doom. Your soul lives forever not your body.
What is a Soul?
The soul is the breath of the spirit or the life of the spirit, without the soul the spirit
cannot function, as man is a tripartite being that has a soul, lives in a body and function by
the spirit. Man is ordinary dust that can only function by the help of the soul and spirit.
Your soul is in your spirit.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his
nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul (spirit). Genesis 2: 7

The soul of a man is of two dimensions:

The physical and spiritual dimension

The physical dimension: This is the brain and the blood that flows in you while the
spiritual dimension is your imagination. In total, the dimensions of the soul are divided
into:
a. Reasoning - That is, your thinking faculty
b. Will - That is, your decision making
c. Desire - That is, what motivates what you do.

In summary, the soul controls man because it's the breath of God. When God takes His breath
from you, you've gone out of this world to another world whether eternal rest or doom. Eternity is
forever, one million years is not enough. It's now left for you to choose where you want to be after
this world. Make up your mind to serve God well and faithfully, and give your heart to Jesus
before it's too late.

3
2. Your Money: Anyone that always give money will never lack it, your money is your
voice in the spirit realm because is your sweat. Giving your money to God's work begins
with your tithe and offering. Money is like an angel, when you give it out, he goes to call
others to come to your house, and money is indeed spiritual!
Saul, the son of Kish found his father's lost ass and became the first king of Israel
because he and his father's servant gave Samuel, the prophet money (fourth part of a shekel
or silver) to find their way after three days search in different locations. You can't reign
until you know how to give. Givers are reigners, and givers have future.

It’s written; A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.
Proverbs 18:16.
The Original meaning of the word ‘gift’ from the above scripture is giving. Your giving
will make a room (a way) for you and bring you before great men. You don’t see your pastor with
empty hand, like Saul and his father’s servant that gave Prophet Samuel money to find their way
and get their breakthrough. Your giving is a gift in your hand that makes room for you, and brings
you before great men.
God will not reward you for how many cars you drove or how many houses you built but how
much you invested in His Kingdom through your local assembly or pastor. Saul's destiny
opened up when he gave what was left in the hand. What were the openings of Saul's destiny.
The openings were:
1. Saul's greatness opened up: His greatness automatically opened up. It’s written,
that Samuel the seer made them (Saul and his father's servant) to sit in the chiefest
place in high place, Saul that was from a very poor background from the family of
Benjamites were the smallest in Israel, and his family was the least of all the families
of the tribe of Benjamin but his giving opened up his destiny. Glory!
2. The lost asses were found: The lost - asses (donkeys) that were lost were found, that
is open door of restoration. Donkeys were used for business purposes those days
because their main occupation was farming. Those days if you have one donkey is
like having a car these days. That means, businesses were restored.
3. Protocols were broken: Ordinarily, there was no way Saul would have become a
king in Israel because the mantle and prophecy of kingship was from Judah not from
Benjamites. The Bible says; In Genesis 49:10 - The scepter shall not depart from
Judah. I decree that protocols be broken for your sake in Jesus name. And every

4
closed doors be open for you in Jesus name. Amen!
A born again child of God can die without fulfilling prophecies if he doesn't provoke
it. Everyone is a child of prophecy but it's your level of provocation that
determines your manifestation.
4 Grace found him: Nothing will happen until you make it happened except by His
mercy. Grace made him available at the time God needed a king for the children of
Israel because they cried out for a physical king. Grace may not find you until you
provoke HIM. Grace is a person, is the person of Jesus in you. That is, JESUS is
grace personified. I pray for someone reading this book right now may grace find you
in JESUS name. Shout Amen!
5. The least became the first King of Israel: Saul that came out from the least of all
the families of the tribe of Benjamin became the first King of Israel. You that is last
born in the family can become the first when your greatness is manifested.

3. Your Time: God created times and seasons for our usage on earth, he doesn't need
time in heaven so he expect you to use it properly, and give Him his portion but
today so many Christians don't have time for Him. They have time to go to their
offices, works, jobs, and so on but have abandoned their services to Him. You must
invest your time in His kingdom through your local assembly. If you don't have
time for God, He will not have time for you. A proper use of time in His house is a
proper use of life, no time spent in His house is a waste. Thank you!
How do you invest your time in His Kingdom?
1. Attending church services when necessary: You don't just go to church when
you like. Do you know that late coming is a sin? You go to church services to be
serviced and trained.
Anytime you attend church services something is always added to you unknowingly
except God open your eyes. You don't help the pastor, church or God by coming to
church, you're only helping your destiny and laying up treasures in heaven. Please
read Matt. 6: 19 -29, 33.

5
2. Rendering a quality services unto Him: Don't just be a chair warmer be an active
worker in His house. There are so many works to do in God's house, like we have the
sanctuary keepers, prayer team, choir team, ushering team, protocol team, and so on.
Your time spent for the Lord is an investment for tomorrow. Time wasted can
never be regained use it wisely unto the Lord before it's too late.
3. Fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit: It's fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit that
build your relationship with God. The first thing God demands from you is your
personal relationship with Him, it’s your personal relationship with Him that gives
you victory over every battle. When you spend time fellowshipping with Him He
increases the power and presence of the Holy Ghost in you. You should spend the
tithe of time with Him everyday of your life. We have 24hrs. a day, then
2hrs:40mins. becomes the tithe of time. Praise God!

CHAPTER 2
Kind 1
The five (5) kinds of givers I discover by the eyes of the Spirit from the above scripture are:
1. Sparing Givers
2. Bountiful givers
3. Grudging givers
4. Necessity Givers
5. Cheerful Givers

Kind 1 are Sparing Givers

These five (5) kinds of givers are found in 2nd Corinthians 9:6-7, it's written:
But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which
soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in
his heart, so let him give; not grudginglv. or of necessity: for God Loveth a Cheerful
giver.
Let's begin with sparing givers. Sparing givers are set of people that gives little from
their abundance. No matter what you will tell them, it's what they've made up their mind to
give that they will give. It will take time to change their mindset, like what happened in
Mark 12: 41-44, it's written:

And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the
treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a
farthing.
And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, verily I say unto you, that
this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: for
all they did cast in of their abundance, but she of her want did cast in all that she had,
even all her living.

It came to pass that one day Jesus stood by the offering box in the church. I believe
He decided to stand close to the offering box to really see what the people were giving, He
was really tired of receiving small, small offering like what is happening today, some
persons desire their pastor to suffer and keep living in suffering, they will say why will a
pastor be living a luxurious life. The truth is that pastors are suppose to live the best life,

7
drive the best cars, given good allowances, marry the best spouses, and what have you
because they're doing the hardest or highest job. They are doing spiritual jobs, it's the
spiritual that controls the physical. They're always in danger zone. I remember a pastor some
years ago, he went to do family liberation, burnt the family idol, and eventually fell sick, his
suit first disappeared. Infact, it was a misery, maybe he went there ignorantly or there was no
spiritual backup, I can't really tell. He fell sick, and was hospitalized for about three months
in the hospital, the sickness increased that he grew thin before he eventually kicked the
bucket. I mean, he finally died. Pastors need all your encouragement, don’t crucify them for
they are humans like you.
Pastors fight spiritual battles everyday whether for themselves or others.
Imagine, what pastors face everyday? They're always in the gap for men especially those that
are in the intercessory ministry. The intercessory ministry is the greatest ministry on
earth.
However, when Jesus saw what they gave, then He called His disciples (leaders), and
said unto them, this poor widow woman that threw in two mites gave much despite she gave
2 mites, that was all she had both in the bank and at home. But the rich men only gave little
from their abundance.
These men were extraordinarily rich but they only gave little from the much they had. This
poor widow woman gave from her heart, it's not a rich bank account, hand or bag that gives,
it's a rich heart.
These rich men that gave little from their abundance were only sparing givers. Are
you a sparing giver?
Do you know how to give? How do you give in your local assembly? They are people that no
matter how much they have they'll only give little from their abundance, and sometimes give
much out of a fearful message or dream. May God help us!

8
CHAPTER 3
Kind 2
Kind 2 are Bountiful Givers
Bountiful givers are set of people that give generously but give with a motive whether
good or bad. Some give for their names to be marketed, to receive the praises of men, to use
the stars of men, to kill destinies, for evil ritual, to make money, with great expectations, and
what have you. These set of people are good givers but have a motive whether good or bad.
It's your motive behind anything you do in life that God looks at. Sometimes, what
you do in the sight of men maybe wrong but in God's sight you're right. Man's judgment
should not be your standard rather God’s judgment should be your standard.
An example of a bountiful giver in the Bible was Jacob. All through the life time of
Jacob, he never gave without a motive or reason. It's written;
And Jacob said, sell me this day thy birthright.
Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentiles: and he did eat and drink, and rose
up and went his way thus Esau despised his birthright. Genesis 25: 31,34
Jacob will always want to give for a reason, like he did to Esau, he told him give me
your birthright (inheritance, destiny, position) before I can give you the bread and pottage of
lentiles you're asking for. Many people are like that today, they will want to give you to
collect something from you. My counsel here, ladies don't sell your bodies (glory, destiny,
inheritance) for a morsel of bread, likewise guys don’t sell your bodies for a morsel of bread.
A morsel of bread or red pottage can get exhausted but to get back your destiny is
always difficult.
There was also a time Jacob vow to God to give all so that God will bless him
greatly, and also promise to pay his tithe if God will be with him, and keep him.
Did you see that he was not ready to give God without a reason?
And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, if God will be with me, and will keep me in this way
that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on. So that I come again to
my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God: And this stone, which I
have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely
give the tenth unto thee. Genesis 28: 20-22
There was also a time Jacob gave Esau his twin brother some things to find grace in
his sight, and he (Esau) first rejected it, saying; I have enough.
And Esau said, I have enough, my brother: keep that thou hast unto thyself.
Genesis 33:9
9
Jacob knew that right from when he collected Esau's blessings the second time that
Esau was after him to kill him. When he (Jacob) met with Esau after some years of
separation he had to give to Esau to sweeten his mind for Esau not to kill him base on the evil
intention he had against him.
Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his
old age: and he made him a coat of many colors. Genesis 37:3
Did you see another reason? He loved and gave Joseph a coat of many colors because he was
the son of his old age. There will always be a reason or reasons before he (Jacob) will give.
Are you like Jacob? To be a bountiful giver is not bad but you can surpass this level.
This level of bountiful givers is for baby Christians, get matured in Christ, and be filled with
His love to give. Let love be your bases like Solomon (1st Kings 3:3-4). He gave from the
depth of love. Your giving is a measure of God's love in you.

10
CHAPTER 4
Kind 3
Kind 3 are grudging givers
Grudging givers are set of people that gives sorrowfully or reluctantly or giving in
murmuring. They are like stingy economist that before they release money they would have
to know exactly what you want to use the money for. They are very slow in giving.
Sometimes, they give out of shame. These set of people will always cook their seeds, and
cooked seeds don't grow if cook seeds don't grow that means they hardly receive. Please, if
you're like these set of people turn a new leaf before it's too late.

This is the worst kind of givers because they hardly receive as a result that their seeds
had been cooked. An example of grudging givers in the Bible is Cain. One of the reasons that
made God reject Cain's offering was that he murmured on his seeds. Murmuring seeds can't
ascend the throne of God.
"...Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. And in process of
time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the
Lord.
But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth and his
countenance fell". Genesis 4:2, 4, 5
Why was Abel's offering accepted and Cain's offering rejected?
The reasons why Abel's offering was accepted and Cain's offering rejected are:
1. Abel gave his offering by faith (Heb. 11:4), while Cain gave out of a grudging heart
2. Abel gave the first fruit of his flock while Cain didn't give his first fruit offering from
his fruits
3. Abel gave the fat sheep to the LORD while Cain didn't give the fat fruits.
4. Abel's offering made him righteous (Heb. 11:40) while Cain's offering made him
rejected or unrighteous.
5. Abel's offering continued to speak though dead (Heb. 11: 4) while Cain's offering
when rejected became wroth. Do you know your giving speaks though dead physically
like Abel? Be a reckless giver so that you will keep speaking till Christ comes.

11
CHAPTER 5
Kind 4
Kind 4 are Necessity Givers
Necessity givers are set of people that give forcefully that is out of force. You will
have to influence them to give, they may be very rich but not good givers until you force the
money out of their pocket or bank account. You will have to mandate them to give, and
sometimes you will have to tell them how much they will give. As a Pastor or leader of any
organization, or you're working as a leader in any organization you will have to force men
into their destined destiny (greatness) because you will be 50% blamed if they don’t become
great.
However, these set of people give forcefully to make progress or fight a battle, like
the king of Moab. Who sacrificed his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead.
And when the King of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him
seven hundred men that drew swords to breakthrough even unto the King of Edom:
but they could not.
Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a
burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel and they
departed from him, and return to their own land.
2 Kings 3: 26-27.

The king of Moab was not ready to offer his eldest son as a sacrifice unto his gods, until he
saw that the battle was too tough even when seven hundred armed military men couldn't
breakthrough. Then he offered him (eldest son) unto his god's (god's chemosh) yet God had
indignation against His own people. If you can give whether you're born again or not you
will prosper but it's better when you're born again because it's recorded for you in heaven. I
still say it again, and again that there is no evil foundations or witchcraft altar giving can't
destroy, and there is no height you can’t get to through giving. What God's people could not
do was what the unbelieving king did. You must live in the realm of sacrifice if you must
enjoy breakthroughs in life.
What the King did was a very strong sacrifice. Imagine, his eldest son that would have taken
his place was sacrificed, when God saw his blood on the wall, he was provoked and fought
against His own people because he is a God of sacrifice. The enemies overcame God's
people by sacrifice. May the enemies not have upper hand against you in Jesus name.
Amen!

12
Why did this king of Moab offer his eldest son that would have reigned in his stead?
The reasons are:
1. To overcome God's people (the children of Israel).
2. To maintain his pride as a king
3. To sustain his kingdom
4. To possess her possession
5. To win the battle before them at the moment
6. To set up a breakthrough record in his reign
7. To prove his faith of what 700 trained men could not do. Hallelujah!

CHAPTER 6
Kind 5
Kind 5 are cheerful givers
Cheerful givers are set of people that give out of the depth of God's love, God loved
them so much. A cheerful giver is a God lover. He is someone with a rich heart and mindset
not a rich pocket or bank account. He gives joyfully without expecting anything from you, he
doesn't believe in 'I do for you, you do for me' he believes that when I give God through my
pastor, less privilege or local assembly, He will bless me for it either by cash or kind
(wisdom, good idea, good health, and so on).

They believe that as they give they're only sowing seeds that will bear fruits tomorrow.
They don't struggle to pay their tithes, freewill offerings or first fruit offerings. He is
someone that desire to be a blessing, and happy to support your vision. A cheerful giver also
have the mind-set that they are giving to help their destinies not their pastors or churches.
They give foolishly, like the prophet is a fool (please read Hosea 9:7).
Characteristics of Cheerful Givers
1. Cheerful givers are great people
2. Cheerful givers are great achievers
3. Cheerful givers are God lovers
4. Cheerful givers are great encouragers
5. Cheerful givers are sacrificial men without reserve
6. Cheerful givers are risk takers
7. Cheerful givers hate to see men suffering, whether their Pastors or the people.
8. Cheerful givers are crazy in giving
9. Cheerful givers are great financial pillars or helpers
10. Cheerful givers are mighty trees
Benefits of Cheerful givers
1. Sound Health: God will give you good health, it is possible that throughout the year,
you will not visit the hospital (3 John2.)
2. Sound mind: You'll flourish with divine Ideas.
3. Spiritual Power: You will be endowed with power to dominate, and take charge of
your environment and destiny.
4. Uncommon Favour: You'll enjoy God's uncommon favour throughout the year.
5. Divine Protection: Your angels are always activated for you.

14
6. Divine Promotion: You'll keep going up from one level to another without struggle.
7. Eternal Rewards: You'll reign with Christ forever
An example of a cheerful giver is Solomon from the Bible. The Bible says:

And Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he
sacrificed and burnt incense in high places.
And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: a
thousand burnt offerings did Solomon offer upon that altar.
In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, ask
what I shall give thee. 1 Kings 3:3-5

Solomon lived a different life from his father. He so much loved the LORD that he
offered a thousand burnt offerings unto the LORD. He started with one, and grew to a
thousand burnt offerings, you grow in giving, start small and grow big. The highest
realm of giving is giving out of love. Love is God and God is Love. It was still love that
made God offer His only son to the world. There is nothing love can't give, nothing is a
god to God lovers or nothing is valuable to them. They see everything as nothing except
Trinity. Glory!
What blessings did Solomon receive when he kept on demonstrating his love for the
LORD?
1. God appeared to him
2. He was given a blank cheque to ask anything.
3. He became full of wisdom and understanding
4. He became very rich.
5. He became a reference point till date.
6. His wisdom and riches superseded all the kings of the earth that once lived.
7. He became famous than his father
8. He built the house of God with gold.
9. He changed family history, 9th child in the family became king.
10. He lived longer than his father.
You can give your way out of poverty, sickness, delay in marriage, delay in child
bearing, and what have you.

15
CHAPTER 7
LOOSING THE GRIP OF GREED
Loosing in this context simply means freeing something or somebody while grip means to
limit or take hold.
Then, what is greed?
Greed is a stingy character of someone that will not let go. It's an excessive attitude of
not being contented with what you have. It's a selfish desire for more than is needed
especially money, food, riches, and what have you. But loosing the grip of greed means
freeing the hold of greed. When you loose the grip of greed off your life then you can access
all glory. Greed can hinder a man to fulfilling destiny, there are some realms of glory he can't
access, and can never be like Jesus.
It came to pass one time that as Jesus left a scene where he prayed for some young folks
when one ran after Him, and said unto Him good master, then Jesus replied him; that none is
good but God, he went further; how can I inherit eternal life? when Jesus said unto him, don't
murder, don't commit adultery, and the rest of them, the rich young man couldn’t obey and
left sorrowfully. Let’s go to the scriptures:

And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him
and asked, good master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? And Jesus said
unto him, why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God. Thou
knowest the commandment; do not commit adultery, do not kill… and so on. And he
answered and said unto him, master, all these have I observed from my youth. Then
Jesus beholding him loved him and said unto him, one thing thou lackest; go thy way,
sell whatsoever thou has and give to the poor, and thou shall have treasure in heaven:
and come, take up the cross, and follow me. And he was sad at that saying, and went
away grieved for he had great possessions. Mark 10: 17-22

It’s a pity that so many Christians have a grip of selfishness and greediness especially with
Africa leaders whether in politics, religion, and what have you. Greed can limit your destiny,
and a greedy man will not go far in life and destiny.

How to loose the grip of greed

1. Decide in your heart not to live in the realm of greed, and rebuke its spirit

2. You must loose value of whatsoever you think you have

16
3. You must have the understanding that whatsoever you have is not yours, that it’s
God’s

4. You must understand that everything came from the ground, and everything is still
going back to the ground.

5. You must understand that only your soul is valuable because your soul is GOD’s
property.
6. You must be ready to give God anything, anytime through your pastor or local
church.
7. You must understand that you’re not of this world, and your treasures are in heaven.
8. You must love God than any other thing in this world.
9. You must promptly obey the Holy Spirit when He speaks.
10. You must kill self through sacrificial giving.
Why did Jesus tell the young brother to sell all his goods and go give the poor?
The reasons are:
1. Jesus loved him so much to unveil the secret of the kingdom through simple test
2. Jesus knew he was hungry to follow Him
3. Jesus wanted to break the stronghold of pride in him
4. Jesus wanted to break the yoke of greed in him
5. Jesus wanted him to put his trust on God, and not his great possessions
6. Jesus wanted to loose the grip of the god of money (the spirit of mammon) in him
7. Jesus wanted him to believe that his great possessions can’t be compared with his
treasures in heaven
8. Jesus wanted him to pay the price of followership
9. Jesus wanted him to believe that to inherit eternal life is not cheap though free. That
eternal life is an everlasting glory.
10. Jesus wanted him to believe that to be His disciple, you must be sacrificial.
The young brother refused Jesus, and left sorrowfully because he felt that whatsoever
things he had was his, and not God’s. Then Jesus Christ said, how difficult it is for the rich to
enter into the kingdom of heaven. It will be difficult for the rich not to enter the kingdom of
heaven when he allows riches to take the place of God in his heart. By His grace, riches
should make you serve God better, and better. Ok!
Only simple obedience didn’t made him followed Jesus to inherit eternal life because
of the grip of greed on him. Jesus told the young man; one thing you lack. What was the thing

17
the young man lacked, it was the attitude of giving. What the young man lacked is what many
Christians, like 80% lacked today. Jesus was His pastors at that time likewise many
Christians don’t obey their pastors, obeying your pastor is obeying God, and mind you;
Obedience is not obedience until it’s prompt or quick. Praise God.
Dear, as l travelled around the World preaching the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ l discover
that eighty (80) percent of believers, and even fathers of faith with all due respect are greedy,
like Elijah told Elisha.

And he said, thou hast asked a hard thing:

nevertheless, if thou see me when l am taken from
thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be
so. 2Kings 2:10
Elijah was not ready to release the double portion of the anointing on Elisha when he asked
him of the double portion of the anointing on him.
Elisha served Elijah with his life yet Elijah was not ready to release the double portion of the
anointing, he was greedy with it, maybe it was as a result of how he got the anointing, but
how you got the anointing or how God lifted you up should not make others go through the
same pain or suffering you went through. Thank God He helped you that you didn’t die in the
process but don’t allow men go through what you went through. Let God’s love rule in your
heart, don’t be sentimental and greedy with what God has blessed you with, you´re a
distributor of God’s blessings or riches but mammon; the spirit or god of money has gripped
the heart of many not to be a distributor of God’s blessings. Mammon is the father of greed.
May God help us! You can get my book on; “loosing the grip of mammon” for the full
package of the word “mammon”.

How did l know that Elijah was not ready to release the double portion of his spirit
(anointing) on Elisha?

From the above Scripture;

i. he said; you’ve asked a hard thing: he made Elisha believe that receiving double
portion of the anointing is a hard thing. I know that receiving the anointing is not easy but
don’t make it difficult for people to receive it. I remember some years back, where l
fellowship before in my teen age made receiving the Holy Ghost difficult for me. They tell
you that you don’t pray in tongues in public but in the secret, if you don’t pray in tongues in
public, how can you receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of praying in
tongues in public? Did you see that? It becomes difficult for people to receive the anointing.
18
ii. …if you see me when l am taken from you, it shall be so unto you.

The word `if´ is a conditional word, it is not certain or a must. That means, Elisha
follow me oh! Anywhere l go be ready to follow oh! To the bathroom, kitchen, toilet, office,
market, and what have you, if not it’s your luck. If you see me when l’m taken is yours but if
you don’t is your luck.

iii. …but if not, it shall not be so.

Did you still see the word ‘if`’ in the above phrase? You will not get it (double portion of the
anointing) if you don’t see me, l’m ready to die with the anointing.

When God finally took Elijah from him, he (Elisha) cried, “My Father, My Father, the
Chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof”.

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that behold, there appeared a
chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder, and Elijah went up by
a whirlwind into heaven. And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My Father, My Father, the
chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold
of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces. He took up also the mantle of Elijah that
fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan. 2 Kings 2: 11-13.

Elisha cried because Elijah was already up(in the air) with the mantle (the anointing)
God has to loose the mantle off him for Elisha because he saw the heart of the service of
Elisha. Thank God the mantle fell on him, he got the double portion of Elijah by the hand of
God base on his services, sacrifices and sensitivity.

Elisha succeeded Elijah but Gehazi couldn’t succeed Elisha because of greed. (please
read 2Kings 5:15-27) he went behind his master /pastor to collect what his master rejected.
That was how Elisha cursed him with the leprosy that left Naaman. Gehazi generations
became cursed forever.

In the other way round, Elisha was also greedy with the anointing, he had the
mentality of his Pastor; Prophet Elijah, that because he suffered to get the anointing, he
wanted his sons and daughters to also suffer for it.

Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he

died… And Elisha died, and they buried him…And
it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that,

19
behold, they spied a band of men, and they cast the
man into the sepulcher of Elisha: and when the man
was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha he
revived, and stood up on his feet. 2Kings 13:14,20-
21

How did l know that Elisha was greedy?

Elisha was greedy with the anointing because:
i. He knew he was going to die: He became seriously sick unto death, his sickness took
him some time before he eventually gave up the Ghost. See, before he finally died, he
would have called at least one of his sons or daughters to transfer the anointing on but
because none served him like the way he served Elijah. Some persons till date will
want you to still go through what they went through. My friend, since God helped
you, don’t allow others go through the same thing.
What a world we are! There are still people that will value what they got on a platter
of gold, it’s not compulsory you will labour for everything.
ii. He prefer to die with it: In his heart, l suffered to get the anointing, l just can’t
transfer it like that, if nobody is ready to serve me the way l serve my pastor/master! I
will die with it. I believe he had one or two sons and daughters that at least served him
a little, he would have still looked for one to transfer it on, but he preferred to die
with it, until God released it on a man that they were burying on his cave touched his
bones then the anointing was transferred.
In those days, they can burry 10 to 20 persons on a cave. God decided to released it on
this particular man they were burying on his cave(sepulcher), as the man’s body touched
the anointed bones of Elisha, he came back to life. I don’t know how many days he died, l
believe it was many days but the anointing that is, as old as God brought him back to life.
Remember, the anointing is never sick. Glory!
iii. He ended up a failure: He ended up a failure because he never raised anybody
that would have carried triple portion of his anointing like he took double portion
of the anointing of Elijah. A success without successor is a failure. He failed to
raise somebody because he wanted everybody to pass through the same way he
got the anointing. Everybody must not pass through the same way you passed
through, learn to transfer to the next person or generation with what God has
blessed you with. Don’t be greedy. Ok!

20
When you’re greedy with what God has blessed you with, you´re only harming
yourself. Do you know that the more you released what God has blessed you with the more
GOD releases more to you? Raise men in a hurry because you will not leave forever on earth.
God bless you real good!

CHAPTER 8

WHEN YOUR CLOUD IS FULL OF RAIN

The truth is that when your cloud is full of rain, it empty itself. Keep investing into His
Kingdom (God’s house), and the lives of men until your cloud is full of rain. Maybe you’ve
been wondering with all my investment or giving yet you’re not enjoying the overflow of
God’s blessings; it’s because your cloud is not full yet. No man can really hold a rain that
wants to pour down, and any man that wants to hold a rain that want to really pour down will
be destroyed by the rain.

What is cloud?

It means a covering of beauty or glory. It’s a white mass made of small drops of water that
floats in the sky. Cloud here speaks of your spiritual atmosphere, and determines what you
attract. When your rain of blessings are not really flowing just understand that your cloud is
not full yet.

In water cycle, when the sun shines on the ground the vapour evaporates to the sky to form a
cloud, and from the plant, the vapour transpirate to meet with the evaporation, when both
meet in the air, it becomes evapourtranspiration that forms a cloud called ‘Clumunibus’ and
then falls as rain to the earth. This will keep recycling itself till Christ comes. This is how
your giving is in the realm of the Spirit; until your giving is full, your rain will not pour
down. Keep giving whether in cash or kind until your cloud is full of rain. Glory!

We have two types of clouds:

These two (2) types of clouds are:

1. Physical cloud: This is an atmosphere like a glory we can see with our eyes.

2. Spiritual Cloud: This is an atmosphere like a glory we do not see with our ordinary
eyes. It’s the spiritual atmosphere that commands favour in a man’s life.

How can I make my cloud full of rain?

1. Continuous sacrificial services to God: You must be ready to serve the Lord with all
joy, holiness and gladness. Serving your leader or pastor is serving God, anybody that
can’t serve man, cannot serve God (Read Psalm 100:2).

22
2. Continuous persistency in the place of prayers and the word: Don’t ever stop
praying, the day you stop praying you start dieing spiritually. Prayer makes you a
giant in the Spirit realm. You must keep praying until you start seeing results, and
even when you start seeing results, don’t stop praying. Pray when it’s good or bad,
pray everywhere especially in the Spirit (speaking in tongues). Please read
1Thessalonians 5:17; Luke 18:1-8, 1Kings 18:41-46.

In 1Kings 18:41-46, Elijah prayed to an extent that the cloud became dark. He sent his
servant seven(7) consecutive times to go check the cloud until it started raining heavily. You
must persist to exist. Persistency is the mother of consistency. And consistency is the secret
of great men.

3. Continuous sacrificial investment or giving: There are two (2) main things you
invest into; your time and money. You don’t stop investing even when your cloud is
full but when your cloud is full of rain it becomes your time, when it becomes your
time then it becomes your turn, and when it’s your turn you will bring returns, and
eventually become a turnaround.

No man can hold a rain that want to really pour down, like in the days of Noah, I
believe different witchdoctors, enchanters, and what have you tried their best possible to stop
the rain but they couldn’t, and it was the same rain that killed all of them except Noah’s
family that obeyed God. May your rain of blessings kill your enemies in Jesus name. Shout
Amen!

(“If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: …” Ecc.
11:3A)

And the angel of God which went before the camp of Israel removed and went
behind them, and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind
them. Exodus 14:19

The Bible says “if the cloud be full of rain” the word ‘if’ was used, that means
you’re the determinant factor to making your cloud full. Your rain of blessings will not pour
down until your cloud is full. Therefore, you must keep gathering cloud until it starts raining.

The Bible went further to say, “They empty themselves” The word ‘they’ was used,
that means God will command men from everywhere to be a blessing to you.

23
I’ve heard some persons say; I have been giving or investing for years now, and I’ve
not seen the results. I’m glad to tell you that your cloud is not full yet. If your cloud is full of
rain, it must surely pour down. Don’t ever murmur but keep gathering cloud until it’s full.
Cloud do manifest itself in 7 –colours on rare times. This is what we call rainbow, which is a
sign of God’s covenant. That means, you must covenant your life with a covenant as a
covenant child of God. May you manifest the colours of your destiny in Jesus Name.Shout
Amen! Hallelujah! Stay Blessed.
Accept Jesus today if you’ve not before it’s too late. Say these prayers:
Lord Jesus Christ I come before you as a sinner have mercy on me, wash me with your blood,
come into my heart, erase my name from the book of death, write my name in the book of
life, I accept you today as my savior and Lord Jesus Christ. From now I’m yours forever.
Now! that you’ve given your heart to Jesus look for any true church where you can grow
your faith. God bless you.
