STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Sweet Creation, as an upcoming start-up business of young entrepreneurs


from STI College General Santos, would seek not just profit, but also to gain the
wealth of experience as well as the knowledge and skills through the course of
our business. As young entrepreneurs, we would like to deliver the best that we
can be through innovation and new perspective in pastry industry.

Although the Sweet Creation is just a home-based business, the entity will
provide high quality products that can satisfy every customers. Sweet Creation
will introduce new exciting flavors of cupcakes with sweet explosive fillings you
get in every bite with affordable and reasonable prices that is worth it to buy by
the customers.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARRY

“Sweet Creation” is a sole-proprietorship which will be owned and


managed by Ms. Christine Anne J. Alemania, a graduate of STI College General
Santos with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant
Management. Sweet Creation is a home-based pastry shop that will be based in
Zone 7, Barangay Bula, General Santos City and will cover a wide range of
clients within the city. Sweet Creation will have the starting capital of Php
50,984.00.

Although the business intend starting out from small in – house bakery,
but that doesn't stop us from maximizing our potential in the cupcake line of
business. We hope to grow the business beyond South Cotabato. As a business,
we are willing to go the extra mile to invest in building a standard in – house
bakery and also to hire efficient and dedicated employees.

The operation of the business will start at 8:00am until 4:00pm except
Sunday but the owner of the company will still entertain customers’ orders
through Social Medias anytime. And the employee will receive the minimum
wage salary that is Php 311.00 per day. Sweet Creation have 6 different flavors
that have a sweet explosive fillings you get in every bite such as Mango
Cupcake, Banana Cupcake, Triple Chocolate Cupcake, Orange Marmalade
Cupcake, Pineapple Cupcake and Apple Cinnamon Cupcake.

Our in – house bakery and delivery network will be customized to fit into
the kind of ideas we have of how a standard cupcake baking business should
look like. When it comes to hygiene, we have put plans, process and structures
in place that will ensure that we are always at the top of game when it comes to

that. We have been able to secure permits from the government agencies. Sweet
Creations is set to redefine how community based cupcake business should be
run, not just in General Santos but also within South Cotabato. Which is why we
have put plans in place for continuous training of all our staff at regular interval
and new ideas being made.

No doubt that the demand for cupcakes and other baked foods is not
going to plummet any time soon, which is why we have put plans in place to
continue to explore all available market around the communities where we intend
selling our cupcakes. In the nearest future, we will ensure that we create a wide
range of distribution channels via franchising. With that, we know we will be able
to maximize profits in our business. Our strongest selling point at Sweet
Creations is the unique taste of the different flavors of cupcakes which is also a
healthy one that we sell.

Our plan is to position our cupcake business to become the leading brand
in the cupcake line of business in the Socsargen within the first 5 years of
starting our business. This might look too tall a dream, but we are optimistic that
this will surely come to pass because we have done our research and feasibility
studies and we are enthusiastic and confident that Gensan is the right place to
launch this type of business before spreading to other cities all across the
Socsargen.
