2 years/4 semesters of history/social science, including one year of U.S. history OR one semester of U.S. history
and one semester of American government, AND

1 year of history/social science from either 1 year of world history, cultures, or historical geography (including European History)
the A or G subject area from the A subject area.
4 years/8 semesters of college-preparatory English composition/literature (including no more than 1 year of Advanced ESL/ELD):

The ESL/ELD cannot be completed during the senior year
3 years/6 semesters of mathematics (including or integrating topics covered in algebra I and II, geometry)*
(Integrated math sequences may be used to satisfy the C Mathematics requirement.)
C │ Mathematics
Students applying to UC must complete a geometry course (or integrated math courses
with geometry content).
2 years/4 semesters of laboratory science
At least 1 year of physical science and 1 year of biological science, one from Must include at least two of the three foundational subjects of biology, chemistry, and
the D subject area and the other from the D or G area** physics (including Biology/Earth & Space Sciences, Chemistry/Earth & Space Sciences,
and Physics/Earth & Space Sciences as part of the Next Generation Science Standards
D │ Laboratory Science Integrated/Interdisciplinary courses may be used to fulfill either physical [NGSS] 3-course model); or two years of the NGSS integrated science 3-course model;
or biological science. or one year of biology, chemistry, or physics and one year of an approved lab science
chosen from the earth & space sciences or interdisciplinary sciences disciplines.
Courses approved for the D subject area in the applied science, computer science, and
engineering disciplines may only be used for a 3rd year (or beyond) of the lab science
