BRIEF:-
Some hotels are built specifically as a destination in itself to create a captive
trade, example at casinos, amusement parks and holiday resorts. Though
hotels have always been built in popular destinations, the defining
characteristic of a Luxury hotel is that it exists purely to serve another
attraction, the two having the same owners.
UTTARAKHAND OVERVIEW
The State of Uttarakhand was formed on 9th November 2000 as the
27th State of India, when it was carved out of northern Uttar Pradesh.
The State is close to the National Capital Region (NCR) and has excellent
connectivity with its neighbouring states.
With levels of literacy rate* (78.80%) higher than the national average
and the presence of institutes of international repute, the State has
abundant availability of quality human resources.
The state offers a wide range of benefits in terms of interest incentives,
financial assistance, subsidies and concessions.
GSDP of the state stood at INR 2,17,609 Million with a growth rate of
11.23%.
PROJECT NEED:-
Luxury hotels, the world over, are meeting-places for the rich and powerful-
place which reverberate with business and politics. The hotel industry has its
roots in the past in almost over country of the world.Hotel provides a service
to the customer whose requirements are clean, quiet and comfortable stays.
The emphasis lies on good food and good services. The development in the
hotel industry leads to a major break-through in the tourism of the country.
AIM:-
To design a five star hotel that is sustainable and has interactive qualities
confined within the spaces and to express the quality of space through volume
and sense.
OBJECTIVE:-
To design a five star hotel with emphasis on contemporary styles and
create spaces for people of various categories (business, vacation and
tourists) to spend more with pleasure and luxury close to nature.

Kohinoor Suite, The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra
