APPLICATION ASESSMENT

Tips and preparation for employers interview

Let me share to you the list of secrets of competitive applicants

1. Image (*personal appearance,bearing and posture,communication skills)

2. Self confidence

3. Knowledge

4. Experiences

5. Qualifications

6. Desire for the job

7. Know the companies background(at least 70% of the featured information)

8. Knock the door thrice before entering to the interviewers room

9. Know the interviewers name( call them by their name before the conversation starts)

10. Smile and greet the interviewer while handling over your CV/resume placed in a clean white
folder with both hands.

11. Do not seat if the employer/interviewer will not offering you to seat.

12. Seat properly in a vertical spine. Do not cross your legs and avoid any extra extremities.

13. Look straight to the eyes of the interviewer while stating your answers.

14. Keep smiling while delivering the most challenging experiences.

15. Listen attentively and do not interrupt the employer while stating their questions.

16. You may also ask for clarifications and repetitions if not clearly delivered by the
employers/interviewers.

17. Always direct to the point and avoid comparing you selves with your co applicant.

18. Never criticize you previous company.

19. Always be an optimistic and don’t be pessimistic

20. Close the conversations and bid farewell to the interviewer with a cordial smile on your face and
lastly offer your right hand for a warm handshake,with that gesture ,you show professionalism
to them.

Tips for constructing your answers

 Know the purpose of the question,and base your answers on that.

 Be original

 Be credible and quantify your answers

 Cite examples from your experience

Sometimes the best way to learn something is to see how to do it. Here are some real answers that
we always been (who unsurprisingly asked to an analysis of why they were WRONG answers. Here are
the answers,so that you can analyze them for yourself.

1. If the job offers you today,would you take it?

Answer “oh yes,thank you very much, I really need this job.”

Or

“ I am not sure ,I might have to think it over and see what others may come my way”

Both of the respondents sounds how desperate are you to find a job. So rude,presumptuous: who do
you think you are? You are being cautious : your telling the interviewer that you are not the right
person for the job/+.

2. Tell me about yourself

Answer : “ my name is Cardo Dalisay ,I’m 23 years old and I finished computer science at TSU”

OR

I love kittens and puppies!I love to play basketball and also love the color orange ,which in why I
am wearing it today.

This information contained in your resume. You need to create a good impression on interviewer,
so say something memorable which will prove you’re worth hiring.

3. Why are you leaving your current job?

Answer : “I'm stiffed by the work environment,the air con

is too weak,my boss is stupid.”

OR

“I am not sure”

Why they should hire whiner like you?even if your previous job was jerk,don’t say so! You need to
give a good reason; otherwise they will think you’re just jumping around jobs for fun.
