    “STRUCTURAL OPTIMIZATION OF UPPER BEAM OF PRESS BRAKE
    the M. Pharm. and Ph.D. MACHINE”
    In this work an attempt is done for Design of Press brake Machine upper
    beam for minimum deflection. .For that it is requires to static analysis and
    optimization for given specification of press brake machine. Topology of
    upper beam is selected with help of dimensional optimization. It also
    provides an algorithm which easily converges to optimum design. By
    introducing ribs in structure we could give new dimension to minimizing
    deflection. Regression analysis is implemented to establish relationship
    between variables. Optimization methods like GA help to control many
    variables at a time for optimization of structure. Now design of components
    of press brake decrease time consumed in compensation of deflection.
