• Utilized C++ to debug and improve controls of an IR/visible camera system designed for military purposes
• Researched potential solutions for integrating L3’s software framework with an open source platform that
could greatly expand L3’s capabilities
• Learned and practiced producing high-quality software within an agile framework

Honeywell Intelligrated, Mason, OH August 2017 - December 2017; May 2018 - August 2018
Sustaining Engineering Co-op
• Updated standard part drawings used by the project engineering teams in AutoCAD Electrical
• Collaborated with a team of engineers and IT specialists to create, edit, and maintain a company wide
database of all installed products at distribution centers serviced by Honeywell Intelligrated
• Analyzed SQL queries from the database to locate sections of errant records and headed an effort to reload
the records in a correct fashion
• Wrote macros in Visual Basic to perform more complex, repetitive data analysis unable to be done by
normal Excel formulas

Research Team Member
• Collaborated with 3 UC students on an independent project centered around developing an algorithm written
in MATLAB that could predict the earnings of upcoming movies in theaters
• Researched a wide variety movie attributes, including budget, reviews, the fame of the cast, and more, to
determine what influenced a movie’s success in theaters
• Utilized data analysis techniques on past movie data to judge the effects of each attribute on past movie
performance, allowing for data-driven weights to be assigned to the algorithm’s variables
