    1. (20 pts) Find safety and environmental information on ethyl benzene (MSDS) and
    answer the following questions. What happens if there is an accidental release? What
    are the storage and handling requirements? What are the upper and lower flammability
    (or explosive) limits? Is ethyl benzene carcinogenic? What are the waste treatment
    methods for ethyl benzene? Maximum one page.

    2. (20 pts) Find a detailed process flow diagram (flowsheet) to produce ethyl benzene.
    Answer the following:
    • Where is ethyl benzene used? List all possible uses of ethyl benzene.
    • Is the global market for ethyl benzene growing? If so, where in the world is the
    highest growth expected? Provide your source(s) for this information.
    • Who are the key players (companies) for ethyl benzene production worldwide?
    • What are the possible raw materials used to produce ethyl benzene? Are there any
    by-products in these processes?
    • Attach a copy of a process flowsheet (PFD) you found and list all sources
    (references).

    information in that report, answer the following:

    product(s)?
    • What was the Net Income?
    • What were the Total Assets? What were the Total Liabilities? What is the Total
    Equity?
    • What was the Current Ratio for this company in 2017? How did it compare to CR
    in 2016?
