The Sharada script is an ancient writing system used in Kashmir that is the basis for several other scripts. A team of over 100 members called the CORE Sharada team has been working for the past two years to promote the script. They have introduced Sharada to over 600 students, developed online learning materials and apps, and hold workshops. They encourage the community to learn Sharada, celebrate an annual Sharada Day, and publish materials to help preserve and spread knowledge of this important part of Kashmiri Pandit cultural identity and history.
