    As-­‐salaamu  alaikum,  
     
    Baahal   Society   Jamaitul   Athariyyah   is   an   Islamic   Association   that   was   formed   in   late   2002   in   the   efforts   of  
    propagating   The   Book   of   Allaah   and   the   Sunnah   of   the   Prophet   ( sallaahu   'alayhi   sallam)   according   to   the  
    understanding  and  methodology  of  the  pious  predecessors  (The  Salaf).  
     
    In  early  2009,  Baahal  Society  Jamaitul  Athariyyah  set  out  on  a  project  to  build  a  mosque,  project  name  Masjid  
    Al-­‐Albaanee.   The   project   aims   to   have   a   mosque   as   well   as   an   Islamic   Education   and   Dawah   Centre   whose  
    objectives  will  be  centered  on  the  following  main  objectives:  
    x To  make  available  to  both  Gambians  and  visiting  Muslims,  a  place  they  can  be  assured  of  worshipping  Allaah  and  
    learning  about  their  deen  in  an  environment  that  is  free  of  innovations  and  other  evil  practices  that  is  harmful  to  
    the  beautiful  manifestation  of  Islam.  
    x To  teach  and  propagate  the  correct  Islamic  knowledge  based  upon  the  Book  of  Allaah  (The  Most  High)  and  the  
    authentic   Sunnah   of   the   His   Messenger   Muhammad   (sallaahu   'alayhi   sallam),   in   accordance   with   the  
    understanding  and  methodology  of  the  Pious  Predecessors.    
     
    A   piece   of   land   located   in   Kolongba,   Dippakunda   has   been   acquired   and   cleared   in   preparation   for   building   work   to  
    commence.    A  copy  of  the  Plot  Location,  Treasury  Receipt,  Certificate  of  Occupancy,  Development  Permit  are  attached.    
    We  plan  to  start  the  building  work  and  focus  on  completing  the  ground  floor  /ŶƐŚĂ͛ůůĂŚ.    Estimates  have  been  made  
    which  amount  to  D2,423,525.    So  far,  we  have  been  able  to  come  up  with  D100,  000.  
     
    We  kindly  ask  you  or  your  company  to  help  us  by  providing  funds  in  the  form  of  grants  or  by  donations  or  services.    We
