1. Introduction/general Information:
Mega Pharmaceuticals is a private limited company established in 2011 with 8
partnership members located at Hyderabad. Mega pharmaceutical is a manufacturer of medical
products likes syrups, capsules, tablets with a wide variety of formulation. It is approved by
USFDA (United States Food and Drugs Administration), DCGI (Drugs Controller General of
India) and pollution control board. Organization provides a non hazardous working environment
to the employees. The organization is well equipped with the manufacturing/production units,
quality control and quality assurance with a well organized marketing channels and research and
development departments.

1.a Vision:

The organization is aimed at producing the medicals products in compliance with GLP (
Good laboratory Practice) and to occupy the major market portion.

The organization is established with a mission of providing a quality of life to the


customers and to create a healthy environment in business as well as in the nations economy

2. Promoters:
The promoters of Mega Pharmaceuticals are IDBI bank , ICICI.

3. Location :

Mega Pharmaceuticals is located in a wide area of 2 acres with all the transport facilities,
communication facilities, and storage facilities and with all the facilities required for a
organization.

4. Plant and machinery :

The plant is located in industrial area where it is provided with all the facilities required for
production, marketing and research and development.
Machinery used in production are:
1. Seimens tablet manufacturing machinery model 8897
2. Seimens syrup production machine model 3545
3. Borosil Glassware and other required chemicals.

5. Production process:
The production process involves various activities like preparation of composition for the drug
and processed in the machinery and they are tested in the laboratory.

NOTE : The production process is varied bases on the product and the batch size.

6. Transportation :
As the plant is located at the state head quarters and at the middle of the city it is facilitated with
required transport facilities like air ways (12km from RGIAP), railways (5kms from secundrabad
railway station) and the wide road way to the plant for transporting of raw materials from various
regions and to export the finished goods to different geographical areas.

7. Communication:

The plant and the registered office is having the communication facilities like postal, tele
communication, and internet and well designed intranet and office and plant is equipped with
wifi internet connection to have access of data within the organization.

8. Raw material :

The raw material used must be varied from product to product it is based on the specifications.
The raw material is imported from qualified companies and they are tested for quality and purity.

9. Manpower :

The selection of manpower is based on the qualification and experience. The suitable employees
are selected within the right time in a right job. The Human resource department of the
organization will effectively perform the HR related activities in time.
The working hours of the employees and workers are in shift basis:

Shift C 10.00 pm to 6.00 am

The employees are provided the basic requirements and a non hazardous environment. Employee
welfare programs are conducted regularly.

10. Product :

Mega Pharmaceuticals produce the medicine like tablets, syrups and capsules are manufactured
as specified in protocol and the operating procedures. The products are kept in a heat, light, and
temperature control rooms. The products are tested for its quality and quantity for their purity.
The product which doesn’t meet the specifications are discarded. The products are prepared as
per the specifications and control systems.
 The brand name for the product is registered

 The market research studies revealed that the demand for the products are high and the
potential customers are interested in innovative products with high quality products.

 There is vast future growth in India and abroad as the pharmaceutical industry is not
sensitive to the business cycles and is basic requirement for all the peoples.

 The competitors are present in all the geographical areas the main competitors are
Ranbaxy, Dr. reddys, GSK etc.

12.b Marketing strategies :

Mega Pharmaceutical adopts all the required marketing strategies a few are mentioned here:

 Mega Pharmaceuticals follow the required marketing strategies to lead the market.
 The products are entered into the market through the skimming method.
 The market is expanded through the promotional activities like advertisements.
 Discounts are allowed to the potential customers for lots purchase.
 Guarantee is provided to the product composition and physical appearance.
 The company is responsible for the defects and provides after sale service.
 The distribution channel is direct marketing and the franchise network.
 Separate budget is allocated for the sales force management and the sales promotion.
 Incentives are provided for the potential customers.
 Credit facility is available for the trusted customers (T&C apply).

13. Cost of production and profitability:

The cost of production varies from batch to batch. An average cost of production is 5,00,000 per
batch of production and the profitability per batch is 1,25,000 including all the expenses and cost
per unit of production varies with the product. The cost includes the fixed cost and variable cost.

15. Project Implementation :

The project implementation initiates with the acquiring of funds and the implementation is a
sequential process and it takes place one after other and the other activities will takes place
simultaneous.
