INTRODUCTION
PROJECT CONTEXT
Water Refilling Station has an efficient water purification process that can surely
make the quality and cleanliness for the risk of water contamination for the safe of the
customers. JSVP Water Refilling Station started since 2018 of August. It is an alternative
source of drinking so Mr. Pangda chose this business because water is the one of the major
needs of the people in the community. He runs the business with his loving wife and with the
help of their workers. The JSVP Water Refilling Station is located in Shamolog Pico La
Trinidad Benguet. They offers a cheaper price that customers can afford also they have own
contact number for their company.
They manually operate the business, so our group designs Water Delivery System
that easily facilitates the basic process of the business like counting the daily sales and the
number of delivered containers/gallons.
Water refilling station management is a system that encompasses all aspects of

managing a company's inventories; purchasing, receiving, tracking, and reordering.
Automation can dramatically impact all phases of inventory management, including counting
and monitoring of items. It is one of the most fast expanding businesses nationwide is the
water refilling station. Mainly pertaining to the untimely processing of their data and
information reliability.
Safe drinking water has been one of the top political agendas of many governments.
Supply and distribution are key challenges in countries where infrastructure is lacking.
Municipal piped water is scared and extremely difficult to reach rural or provincial areas.One
of the most important health advantages in water refilling stations if they are using the
appropriate filtering system is further screening out of harmful organisms, which survived the
chlorinated condition in the public water systems drinking filtered water is about paying for
safely.In a recent publication, the Philippine Government has encouraged private
entrepreneurs to start water refilling shops like JSVP Refilling station as an alternative source
of drinking water supply. These shops, often known as "refilling stations", are no more than
50 square meters and provide purified water quality that conforms to national standards for
drinking water.This alternative safe water supply infrastructure has proven effective in
meeting the needs for both urbanized cities, characterized by serious traffic congestion and
distribution of safe drinking water becomes a challenge after a 5km radius, and the rural
provincial towns where large trucks find it impossible to access.
The demand at the water refilling station, water stores that sell purified water is now
increasing. The quality of purified water conforms to the national standards for drinking water
and is even better the quality of water produced by traditional water supply systems in terms
of removed impurities.Over the years, as the demand for cleaner water becomes higher, the
price of the household water purifiers and bottled water has become prohibitive. Water
refilling stations managed by private entrepreneurs offer a cheaper and more convenient
solution to the public's drinking water needs than bottled water or the use of household filters.
JSVP Water refilling station is using a private deep well.Typical water refilling
stations can produce 3,000 to 12,000 liters of purified water per day. In previous years, most
of the people were bringing a container to a water refilling station to buy purified
water.Nowadays, because of convenience on the part of the consumers, purified water in
gallon/containers are delivered by the station directly to the people's home,JSVP Refilling
station also delivering a day into any household clients who ordered.
PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
A Point of Sale System – or as we will call from now on – POS System is an

automatized sales software in which the cashiers input the products, tally the costs and
conduct the financial transaction.
Unlike a cash register, POS Systems are known to have the capabilities of collecting
more information. When conducting business, the more information that you have on your
customers the better equipped you will be. From stock inventory, data collection and detailed
reports, good point of sale systems will be able to offer them all. A system that is capable of
integrating with other ordering and sales systems is good to invest in. Gathering customer
information is necessary for the purposes of creating a custom model that you can work with.
There are many advantage of having a Point of Sales System. With a POS System,
you can easily look up past transactions; it will help you on how to calculate your due sales
based on the exact amount sold on the business, A POS System on the other hand it
encompasses all aspects of managing a company's inventories; purchasing, receiving,
tracking, and reordering.
There are many common Water Station Problems like customer records, Sales
Monitoring, Late Deliveries, Missing bottles/dispensers, short supplies, machine malfunction,
uncollected receivables, un-optimized expenses and other more.
The goal of the study is to conduct a Point of Sale Management System to the
business, wherein the work of an employee will much more become easier than before but in
accomplishing the study we will be expecting or facing a lot of limitations. The System will
cover the following areas: Customer Record Management, Sales Management, Inventory
Management, (Supplies Monitoring) Personnel Management.
