    Strongly recommend install NS2 at Linux/Unix system.

    NS2 and nam installation in Ubuntu 16.04


    a. NS2 installation
    Step 1: Update system:

    sudo apt-get update

    Step 2: Install: ns2

    sudo apt-get install ns2

    b. nam installation
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install nam

    If there is segmentation core error:

    Download nam installation file from
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4nUSbTYSK4TclRYODFvbWgxeWM/view ( for
    i386)

    or

    step1:
    sudo apt‐get remove nam
    step2:
    sudo dpkg ‐‐install [installation file you just downloaded]
