Today features another
milestones in the lives of graduating pupils like us. I can say that we are now ready to move forward, conquer and more ready to face life challenges in the future. Together with my batchmates, we celebrate our success after six years of hardship, struggle and perseverance. We reminisce all the challenges that stood before us, and savor the victories that came upon our hands. As I stand before you today, I am faced with the challenges of todayʼs fast changing time. With our theme “Mag-aaral ng K to 12: Handa sa Hamon ng Buhay, K to 12 Learners: Ready to Face Lifeʼs Challenges”. Yes, it is very true that our generation is ready and will soon take the lead in the future. We are prepared to combat the battles that may come our way, because we are transformed into more responsible, more competent and more skilled individuals ready to conquer the world and the universe in itʼs narrowest sense. Standing also here in front of everybody, I have this feeling of pride and happiness. Because I have proven to myself that I can be the best version of myself and of what I am, only if will strive hard and have a sense of determination and perseverance. I am also happy because all my efforts and sacrifices were well paid off. As an ordinary girl and Young as I am today, I can say that failures and all trials should not be the reason for us to say no and never try to do something, rather let us make them an inspiration to do more, to do better. Let all these failures strengthens our character, to inspire other, impact people and to be positive at all times. These medals I have today are the fruits of my labors, and I know I could not be this best if not because of my parents who were always there for me to guide me. Mama, papa and kuya Kyle thank you so much for the undying support, to Daddy Ayek and Daddy Dong Thank you also for everything. To my family, relatives and friends abo guid mga saeamat kinyo tanan! To Nene Eliza for being there always when I needed you the most, to tito Tom-Tom and ninong Josef Rebuelta for the love and support Thank you. To Mamaʼs officemates and co-employees thank you all. And in be half of the graduating class, to our teachers and advisers from grade 1 up until now, Thank you for all of your dedication and patient in teaching us, we are forever grateful for the sacrifices and selfless services you have given us. Maʼam and sirs, we really learned a lot of things from all of you which we will value and carry with us, as me and the rest of my batchmates continue getting through our dreams. To all our beloved parents here with us today, Thank you for supporting us throughout the journey, we are not the person we are today if not because of you and your love for everyone of us. To our dear Libacao Central Elementary School, Thank you very much for caring us for six long years, we promised that class 2018 will continue what legacy you have started, your history as an institution of basic education and we will continue to still make you proud. To all of you who in one way or other helped us become what we are now, our heartfelt gratitude. Above all, the Almighty Father for the gift of life, the wisdom and the expertise you have bestowed upon us. We always pray earnestly that you may continue to guide us, as we follow the direction towards the attainment of our dreams.
To this end, I am asking my
fellow graduates to be one with me in giving back the honor and glory and thank everyone who had molded us to what we have become now. May we give them hugs and kisses and a round of applause. Always remember that we can be ready in our own little ways, and because we are all born ready to face lifeʼs challenges. “If we will only just think and believe that we can, we can!”
