ABSTRACT
There has been a rapid increase in the number of graduates
of Bachelor of Science in Hotel Restaurant Management and
Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management in the past decade.
With this, the career opportunities of these graduates are
becoming leader because of the tough competition among the
employment in their field. There has been a change in the hiring
system of companies, establishments, and other related employing
agencies to increase the qualifications of their applicants.
Specifically they are looking for employees who are equipped
with the highest core competencies and essential skills to
perform effectively and efficiently in the work field. The study
sought to find out the relevance of TESDA National Certificate
II on the career of BSHRTM Graduates of Saint Paul University
Philippines Tuguegarao City. The research approach, design, and
method that were used in the study was the descriptive design
using the survey method. In this descriptive survey, the
researchers floated questionnaires to the selected BSHRTM
Graduates of SPUP Tuguegarao City. The study was conducted from
November 2017 to February 2018. It investigated whether having a
