In this research paper the role of NGO who do social mobilization has been assesed.A study
their methods of mobilization and how effective were they in their implementation and include
suggestions in improving the promotions. It was found out that the NGO's were taking enormous
efforts for Swarnajayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY) promoted by government. There
were also suggestions made that this technique can be used for other scheme also in future.
National and regional level seminars can also be organised to build capacity of NGO's.
In this research paper the challenges face dby local NGO's in resource mobilization have been
studied. Donations and resource allocation depends on financial stability of the businesses.
So organisations need to diversify their mobilisation from where they receive it. They should not
rely on one mechanism for resources. They should have a proper planning while trying to get
mobilization and should be monitored discussed, improvements and to be properly documented.

In this research paper the role of NGO mobilisation with respect to SDGs ( Sustainable
Development Goals) is been studied. Interviews were conducted with 20 NGO's . It was found
out that most NGO's work around the SDGs. Government intervention was needed for helping
NGO's in implementation of SDGs. Some NGO's don't see any value added in participating in
the processes they engage more in sectorial processes where they think decisions are really
taken. So they exist some obstacle of implementing SDGs among some NGO's.
