Steel beam bridge sleepers (SBS).

In the field of steel bridges, the use of our in-house devel-


oped steel beam bridge sleeper (SBS) is currently increasing.
The reason: the SBS is very easy to install, requires low-
maintenance and has a long life cycle. Moreover, since the
beginning of 2012, a type approval for this sleeper has been
granted by the German Federal Railway Authority and by
DB Netz AG.

In our SBS system, the tracks are bedded elastically with the height- and side-adjustable
Krupp ECF rail fastening system on a steel girder. The SBS will be fixed directly on the
bridge girder. This way, the horizontal and vertical forces will be passed to the bridge girder.

Beside their durability, the reason for


their success lies on their proven flexibility.
The SBS system is compatible with a whole
range of specified fastening systems. In
addition, it allows superelevations of up to
130 mm. Continuous optimization ensures
that the system is very easy to install.
