The Picquic range of screwdrivers covers all needs from handyman ,mechanic and also electronics.
For my needs I chose the Multique screwdriver .
The tool is well designed and of a high quality the main shank is made from aircraft grade aluminum
and has hex flats at its base for holding/ applying extra torque with a spanner. The Multique is
supplied with seven interchangeable tips which fit into a magnetic socket at the end of the main
shank. The spare tips are stored in the handle in a unique fashion being held into their slots by an O
ring at the base of the handle. To select a new tip the old tip is inserted into the rear entrance hole at
the base of the handle which pushes out the new tip which is now ready to be withdrawn and placed
into the magnetic socket. I know I have laboured this but the clever part about this screwdriver is
that you will not drop the tips if you use it correctly and you do not have to hunt for the correct type
of screwdriver when up on your tower or roof.
The standard tips supplied are three flats two pozi and two phillips. Additional tip sets are available
and you can even mix and match your own set.
Now this model has one disadvantage in that the tip
shaft size is smaller than standard so all those cordless drill/screwdriver tips will not fit . The reason
for this is that as it is made for mainly electrical use the shaft is thiner and longer than normal.
The handle is made of a very tough plastic and fits the hand well, Like the well known multi-tool the
guarantee is lifetime.
I was so happy to at last obtain a quality screwdriver that I also purchased the Sixpac Plus which
takes the standard tip size and a stubby called a Teeny Turner. Highly recommended.
