Verik’s Business
Verik is specifically coming to Eador to pick up several barrels
of colored sand. These are kept out back of the building with
Crystal Walls (Fimbrizzle’s cousin Grarnizz). However when he
sees the state of the village he realizes there is trouble afoot.
He will dispatch his two guards along with the players to try
to figure out what is happening to the poor gnomes. It is
worth mentioning that all the “loot” here was actually taken
from this village and a human village called Therus further
down the Menori Mountain Trail. While the gnomes will be
very pleased with the characters for freeing them, any
looting of their homes will quickly change this factor.
After the characters free the gnomes, Verik will pay Gramizz
and gather the barrels up. He will make sure to have the
players grab gnoll fangs for bounty and Slavash’s head for
bounty as well. This should help to get players use to
collecting bounties and body parts.
