Walking holiday
My wife and I have always loved Portugal. A few years ago, when we (25) ………… in rainy
London, we decided to get away for a while and to walk the 300km between the two biggest cities
in Portugal: Porto and Lisbon. On paper, it looked a long way, but we thought, (26) ………… we
try, we'll never know. It took 19 days. The first week was tiring, but we soon got over that. The
