We warmly invite you to join us at Grey Matters! 2016, an Entrepreneurial Development Conclave to be held on December 17,
2016 at IIM-LIFE, which is an Incubator at IIM Lucknow, Noida Campus.

IIM Lucknow is an epitome of successful business management practices and now envisages to launch its technology business
incubator IIM-LIFE, at IIM Lucknow’s NOIDA campus. The incubator will facilitate the start-up ecosystem in the Country and
nurture early stage start-ups by building business management capacities, providing mentorship and pre-seed and seed funding.

0315 PM to 0715 PM: Idea Problem Hackathon

Participants shall attack problem statements to explore entrepreneurial ventures around the problem areas.

Problem areas are as follows:

Track 1: Big Data Analytics Data Visualisation Track 4: Social Impact for profits
Track 2: .Agriculture, Food Processing and Farm Inputs Track 5: Industrial IoT and advance manufacturing
Track 3: Smart City Design for Non-metros Track 6: Hospitality Consumer Products
Participants need to pre-register their teams and mention the problem area the team would hack. Hacking teams shall present an
implementable concept venture on the problem area at the end of the hackathon.

The best pitch shall receive mentoring support, opportunity to pitch to the incubator, potential funding from leading institutions and access
to consumption markets.

Concept Pitch to include:

1) Pain Points that your team is attempting to solve: Try substantiating the pain points with as much data points
2) Minimum “Value Hack” [MVH]: Pitch the minimum value hack that your team has arrived at. MVH has to the most critical yet the
most easy way for your target consumers to use and pay for your value proposition. Value proposition may be a basic product and /or
service or both. MVH is considered a success when the identified pain point of your target consumer is alleviated.
3) Growth Matrix: 3 months from MVH; 6 months from MVH; 12 months from MVH. Growth matrix to comprise of metrics across
operational, technology, go to market, customer acquisition
4) Big Picture: What is the Big Picture you are solving and how does that translate into your Venture Vision

Pitch should have 1 slide for each of the above points. 2 minutes allotted per pitch; followed by 2 minutes of Q&A from Panel and Audience.
