    Unit II

    Vegetative forms, size, cell structure, pigmentation, food reserves,


    methods of reproduction of the following genera mentioned in the
    following units:- Oscillatoria, Chalamydomonas, Volvox, Chlorella,
    Cladophora, Oedogonium, Cosmarium, Caulerpa & Diatoms.

    Unit III

    Vaucheria, Ectocarpus, Dictyota, Polysiphonia & Gracilaria.

    Unit IV
    Bryophytes:- General Characteristics, Classification, Morphology,
    Structure, reproduction of the main classes of Bryophytes.

    Unit V
    A detailed study of the following genera:- Riccia, Porella, Anthoceros &
    Polytrichum.
