    Mr. Phillip Peters, the Network Manager at the University of Zimbabwe Computer Centre, sent a request to the Director to approve a quotation from Hubit to connect their air conditioning unit in the server room to the generator. This is needed because whenever the electricity goes down, the server room loses cooling without being connected to the backup generator. Peters asks that only Hubit's quotation be accepted since they have an existing agreement for installation and servicing of the air conditioning unit.

    REFERENCE: QUOTATION TO CONNECT AIR-CONDITIONING UNIT TO GENERATOR

    The above matter refers.

    We have an air conditioning unit for our Server Room which was installed by Hubit and
    whenever electricity goes down we do not have service in the Server Room. We requested
    Hubit as the company that installed and services our Air conditioning unit to connect the unit
    to our generator. They have sent through the quotation which is attached. May we be allowed
    to use only this quotation as we have an agreement with Hubit.
