Dua’s from the Qur’aan and Sunnah

Complied by one who is in need of Allah’s Mercy and Forgiveness

‘We sent it (this Qur’aan) down on a blessed night in the month of Ramadhaan. Verily, We are ever warning [mankind
that Our Torment will reach those who disbelieve in Our Oneness of Lordship and in Our Oneness of worship]. Therein
(that night) is decreed every matter of ordainments. ‘ [Ad-Dukhaan (44):4]

It’s a good idea to make a list of du’as to make in the last 10 nights of Ramdhaan keeping in mind the hadith:

O My servants, even if the first amongst you and the last amongst you and the whole human race of yours and
that of Jinns gather together on a sector of land and all ask of Me and if I were to give everyone of them what
they asked, that will not in any way decrease what I have anymore than a needle decreases what is in the
ocean when it is put into it. [Sahih Muslim] [Hadith 24 from Nawawi’s Forty Hadith]

Know o Slave of Allah that it is something easy for Allah to give you everything that you make du’a for on Laylatul Qadr
or any of the last 10 nights. So why not make a list of the du’as you want to make and then ask Allah sincerely, being
sure in your heart that He will respond to your du’as. For verily, He is the One who listens and responds to all the
supplications.

May Allah help us to catch Laylatul Qadr and accept our du’as during that night. Ameen.

And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad sallalahu ‘alayhe wasallam) concerning Me, then
(answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the
supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). Quran 2:186
