    List of Experiments

    Manufacturing Lab
    Code: 1MEIPE6 Marks
    Allotted: ---100

    Following is the list of experiments to be conducted in this Lab and students are required to perform
    at least five experiments:
    1. Exercises on manual CNC Part Programming using G & M codes
    2. Machining of parts on CNC machines including preparations of part programme,
    after simulation of tool path using suitable CAM software package.
    3. Study and experimentations with CMM.
    4. Experiments with NDT techniques.
    5. Use of surface roughness meter and related experiments.
    6. To check the accuracy of a ground, machined and Lapped surface-
    a. Flat surface
    b. Cylindrical surface
    7. Find out chip reduction coefficient in (reciprocal of chip thickness ratio) during
    single point turning.
