The key takeaways from the document are that it discusses the International Cupping Society (ICS), their code of ethics for members, cupping therapy cases, featured research on cupping, and cupping therapy websites.

The International Cupping Society (ICS) holds an international register of qualified cupping therapists. All members adhere to the ICS code of ethics. The ICS aims to support cupping practitioners and preserve holistic values in cupping therapy.

Advantages of being a recognized ICS member include being part of the only independent body for cupping therapists that is not-for-profit. The ICS also provides a voluntary self-regulation framework and supports complementary schools/clinics that meet their criteria.

What is the ICS

The ICS holds an international register of qualified cupping

therapists. All are members of the ICS and adhere to the Code of
Ethics.

Advantages of Being a recognized ICS Member

The ICS is the only independent body that exists NOT for profit but
for the benefit of practitioners and their associations.

The ICS is a body with a Voluntary Self Regulation (VSR) Council

framework to help therapists,

ICS Philosophy - Why we are different :-

We are non profit making and therefore have only your interests
at heart.

We champion the preservation of all holistic values not to be

compromised by bureaucratic regulation.

We support meaningful voluntary self regulation where the VSR

Council created by the therapy peers maintains control. This

3
protects the therapy associations and practitioners as well as the
public.

We embrace and support complementary schools and clinics

that meet our criteria.

The ICS Council IS the membership, not a separate body.
