SERVICE
Horses for Handicapped - Occurs most every Saturday morning from 9:00am
until noon. Horses for Handicapped is a private non-profit program, for the purpose
of promoting and teaching therapeutic horseback riding for the handicapped. Our
Key Club, along with Kiwanis and other groups volunteer at Horses for
Handicapped. Our members usually act as side-walkers. That is, we steady the rider
as we walk along beside them and the horse. There are two sessions, and you do not
have to stay the entire three hours.
Sandwich Make/ Cookie Bake - Takes place once a six weeks after Tuesday LEADERSHIP
meetings in Mrs. Miller’s room. Members bring in bread, peanut butter, jelly, and
cookie dough. Basically, we make as many sandwiches and cookies as possible.
