    The Ring Topology is a physical, closed loop consisting of

    The data being transmitted between two nodes passes through all the
    intermediate nodes.

    A central server is not required for the management of this topology.

    Limitations

    The failure of a single node of the network can cause the entire
    network to fail.

    The movement or changes made to network nodes affects the

    interconnected with one another, allowing for most transmissions to be
    distributed, even if one of the connections go down.

    It has multiple links, so if one route is blocked then other routes can be
    used for data communication.

    Troubleshooting of this topology is easy as compared to other networks.

    Limitations

    It becomes very expensive because a large number of cabling and

    The medium has a physical beginning and end.

    It is easy to handle and implement.

    It is best suited for small networks.

    Limitations

    The cable length is limited.

    This limits the number of stations that can be connected.

    This network topology can perform well only for a limited number of
    nodes.
