This novel book is considered the most influential work of literature from the
Spanish Golden Age, is set in Spain. The story follows the adventures of a noble
named Alonso Quixano who is the principal character and his neighbour who is
Sancho Panza. In the course of their travels, the protagonists meet innkeepers, goat
herders, soldiers, priests, escaped convicts and scorned lovers. The book consist in
2 parts.
In fact, the story is as humorous as its main character. There are 2 memorable events
which are Don Quixote's attack on windmills that he believes to be ferocious giants
and the other one is when he arrives at an inn, which he believes to be a castle, and
then he becomes involved in a fight with muleteers.
