Vingt Regards Sur l'Enfant-Jésus
Vingt regards sur l'Enfant-Jésus is a suite of 20 pieces for solo piano by the French composer Olivier Messiaen (1908–1992). The
work is a meditation on the infancy of Jesus, and the French title translates roughly as "Twenty contemplations on the infant Jesus". It
was composed in 1944 forYvonne Loriod, and its performance requires about two hours.
