    Check the power supply fan is running smoothly.

    Delete unnecessary data in the system to improve the


    performance of the hard disk.

    Monthly Verify appropriates display intensity of the VDU.

    Ensure proper vertical and horizontal alignment.

    Ensure all cable are properly secured.

    Check the contrast of the VDU and do proper adjustment.

    Check the keyboard function.

    Verify all system point at the VDU to ensure correct response.

    Display on all point logs in the VDU and check for any
    abnormality of the sensor points.

    Printing Devices

    Monthly Visual checks on system printout.

    Check alarm printout.

    Check line and form feed function.

    Check and ensure smooth carriage motions.

    Run printer self-test.

    Check all cable and tighten if necessary.

    Local Network Adapter

    Monthly Check proper air circulation in the control panel.

    Ensure all terminations, ports, and connectors are properly


    secured.

    Conduct software diagnosis to ensure system in the proper


    mode of operation.

    Perform software checks on the system program.

    Check proper network communication with field controllers


    and peripherals.

    Direct Digital Controller


    Frequency Service Required
    Monthly Check and ensure properly supply voltage on the external
    controllers.

    Check 24Vdc unregulated voltage for Digital Output.

    Ensure grounding cable is intact with the controllers.

    Perform cold-start and verify self-test LED operational


    indications by the authorized personnel.

    Check the wiring diagram is updated and cables are properly


    secured.

    Visual check on LED to ensure proper functioning of the DDC


    communication channel.

    Ensure the software program is running in proper mode.

    Software checks on the control loops.

    Software checks on the system program.

    Check proper network communication.

    Conduct database backup.

    Field Sensors and Transmitters

    Manual alarm lockout.

    Verify system sign-on and sign-off security.

    Check menu penetration path of site menu and key names.

    Verify alarm / trouble annunciation and acknowledgment.

    Check segregation of points and authorization control.
