    To Whom It May Concern:

    I would like to recommend Mekala Thompson as a candidate for your organization. As a student
    in my classroom, Mekala is a hard worker, focused, and determined.

    I have had the chance to work with Mekala for multiple years at our school district. This has
    allowed me to watch her grow and mature as a student, and Mekala has done exactly that. At the
    beginning of her Junior year, Mekala was not a motivated student. She rarely did work on time
    or to the best of her ability. By the end of her Junior year, I saw Mekala transform into a hard
    and honest worker. She began to notice how important what she is doing now is for her future.
    Over the summer, Mekala did not lose this focus. At the start of her Senior year, Mekala buckled
    down right away and began to complete her best work. As a result, she is currently excelling in
    my classroom. It has been an honor to watch this transformation from a below average student to
    an above average student in my classroom. Her determination has allowed her to complete many
    of the given assignments in my classroom before the given due date. She is surpassing many of
    her peers, not only in the completion of her work, but also in the quality. I know her motivation
    toward school, life, and work will only continue to grow as she goes off and applies for the
    positions that matter to her. Overall, I feel Mekala will be a great asset to your team, because she
    has learned how to self-motivate. This is a skill that some never master; luckily, Mekala has not
    only obtained this attribute, making her a stronger and unique individual.

    I have enjoyed the chance to work with Mekala these past few years. She is a pleasure to have in
    class, because of the listed qualities. If you have any further questions or concerns about
